Arma II issue. . .lack of textures.

Well I just got Arma II last night and went to run it for the first time today and got this lovely display.

Not entirely sure wtf the issue is all the other games I have run/look fine. I had a somewhat similar issue when trying to play Bioshock, but with that nothing would show up at all, the screen was basically 90% black. . .

    Here are my system specs.

Everything is on defaults, I haven't tweaked anything with my card.
    Any ideas?

Not sure if it means what I'm thinking it does, but have you tried cranking that 3360x2100 "3D Resolution" drop-down box lower?
(it's showing as double the size of your interface resolution)

When I see these types of issues in a game, it's usually either a case of a) Buggy game, b) Drivers, or c) Video card(s) don't have the memory to process everything.

On a side note, how much did that beast of a rig cost you? o.O

[EDIT] After reading the Steam forums, there's quite a few threads regarding performance issues and what not for modern nVidia card & SLI setups, so it's more likely a case of a buggy product.

Apparently the new Nvidia driver is to blame, I rolled it back and it runs fine now. Just runs like dogshit on my rig. . could be lower CPU.

Or I can continue to blame Vista. . .everything runs like shit since I upgraded.
Old setup: XP 3gig of ram
    New: Vista 64 8gig

(XP setup outperformed Vista. . .makes sense it does not) I need to try 7.

As for the cost um, maybe $1500? I honestly forget. . .I paid like $500 for the card /facepalm.

    Antec 900 Case (wish I had 1200)
    AMD Phenom 9600 x64
MSI K9A2 Platinum (ya I fucked up and got an ATI board and run Nvidia graphics on it lol)
    EVGA 9800Gx2
320gig Main HDD, 1tb Slave HDD
    650w PSU

How many inches is that screen? It's not your system..its definitely the drivers at fault. I upgraded to the new ones but its a mistake.

    22" Westinghouse.

Well I just got the most recent patch from Nvidia, then it worked after I did the roll back. I haven't installed the 1.02 patch for Arma II yet, I'll re-update the driver after that's in and see how it goes.
