Seed was like the slowest show ever. So many useless scenes, repeat, recaps..etc. Cut the garbage and you make a decent 24 episodes show.

You are missing out on series that are far better than the "CG'ed" series.
Let's say we make a cut-off around G Gundam (the X/Turn-a/etc kind of too).
Every single series before that > every single series after that.

As far as SEED goes. And no I'm not talking about Destiny.

It had its moments. The soundtrack was pretty cool. And I liked that it was a vague retelling of 0079 with twists (some nice, some lame). The bloodbath near the end of the series was strangely satisfying for me. No it didn't have very many likable characters, but I didn't really like anyone in 00 either. The thing 00 has over the other Gundams of the past decade and a half or so is the mecha. Strike and some of the later models in SEED (Strike Rouge +IWSP <3) were pretty neat still.

Do yourself a favor atleast and watch 0080 0083 and 08th MS Team, none of these series are terribly long and they are mos def. worth your time

I disagree with everything before G-Gundam is better than everything after. Gundam 00, while having many glaring flaws, was still well made for the most part and I did think it was better than some of the older UC stuff. SEED/Destiny were both terribad, with Destiny being the worst probably, but Season 1 of Gundam 00 was definitely up there. Season 1 was also 00's peak, with some cool stuff in Season 2 and then a slow, downward spiral after it seemed like they went off on some tangent.

Considering the final death roster in both season, it's almost as if the series is trying to spite me.

Bitching aside though, it's a decent series if you can stand a main character that's more shallow than domon and heero yuy put together.

The SD Gundam dub fucking ruined it to no end due to when it aired. The original was ACTUALLY pretty entertaining, and lol @ Windmill Gundam. God I loved G-Gundam.

Yeah if you don't like slow/awkward action scenes, an extremely bland cast of characters, and gundams getting jammed by sand (omg it's so realistic!!1) you should just kill yourself.

Does Turn-A turn into something watchable after the beginning? I dropped it like 10 episodes in, and at that point it was easily the worst gundam series I've seen.
