Dreamcast version still feels and looks a lot better. I'm probably biased since I never liked the direction they went with MvC2.

Never played MvsC1 before.. but played MvsC2 like mad on the Dreamcast..
I hope they'll release Rival School 2 on xbox live someday... one of the most fun fighting games i've ever played.... <3 Edge

MvC1 was pretty good, but took a huge hit with playable characters. Same great gameplay from the rest of the Vs series, but I would have like to see all the original cast from the rest of the series on MvC1.

Did Capcom just forget about Rival Schools or something?

Learning the ropes in this game is lightyears beyond any other fighter. It is AMAZINGLY fun when you are good enough to compete though.

Edit -

Select Magneto, Storm, and Psylocke and just start from there. Don't pickup Sentinel until you are good with, at least, Storm.

this game looks really fun at high levels... but i'm like... brand new to it.

how exactly am i supposed to use magneto? or could you point me in the direction for something to read up on like all the basics and combo's etc.

Don't go so much by the top one...

most of the time you won't have the luxury of starting ROMs without your assisting starting it, therefore you won't be able to juggle off of them as quickly (and you usually don't anyway until the very end of combos)

Practice with Psylocke assist into Magneto ROM. When you get to around 35 hits assist Psylocke against and either snapout or use magnetic tempest to kill them.

Edit - I noticed like 5-6 of those combos in the vid aren't even combos or resets. If the person was blocking the right way they would get out of it. Avoid that top video all together and just find some vids of "Magneto ROM / Infinite"
