Most people suck. It is rare I get someone that I have to actually try against.

I would say:

75% : Megaman/Hayato/Spiderman

15%: People who select Mag/Sent/Storm/IronMan/Spiral but have no idea how to play them

10%: People who are good

It's been f/e since I played MvC2, but damn I thought I was better then this haha. What makes Mag/Storm so good? I tried messing around w/em but not too good yet...

There are a few things that make top tier, I'll rank them in order:

1. The ability to triange jump

(Super jump, and immediately(IMMEDIATELY) press the 2 punch buttons to air dash while holding Down+Forward)

2. Speed (they both are fast and have huge priority frames)

3. Both have infinites on Sentinel, and Magneto has infinites on every character

4. Storm: Air combo > xx Lighting super > Sentinel Drones Super is probably the most deadly combo in the game

5. Storm's keep-away game is the best. If it is 1 v 1, Storm is hands-down 10x better than whoever she is facing.

6. Storm/Magneto: Both build meter the fastest by:

(Super Jump, immediate HP, dash down fast HP before you hit the ground, repeat, repeat)

7. Storm's Ice Rocks is the best super in the game, and has good chip damage

I've been trying to learn Magneto's Air Combo: LP LK MP MK + Hyper Grav +Tempest move for so long now I can do the Air Combo Fine Regularly, Even the Hyper-Grav to Tempest fine, but I just can't combine them together...

I try to do the combo as fast as possible too, and I tried slower... I just can't figure it out ! If you can shed some light into this for me it's much appreciated :D!!

Problem I had was using MK to make a Hyper Grav. I found it best to us HK for hyper grav. Also, as you are finishing off your hyper grav, on the last MK, be on the ready to use HCB,HK then quickly finish off with QFC,KK. Do that by reversing the motion: Instead of actually doing QCF,KK, do HCF,KK. All in all, you need to be fast as fuck.

It helps me when I actually think about the button combination as I execute the combo. After a while then you can rely on trained muscle reflex. I would also recommend putting the training dummy on auto guard to see if you are actually doing hyper grav fast enough for Tempest to connect.

Ooh... I see... I know the Hyper Grav -> Tempest has to be super fast.

The problem I have is after I do a MK, the opponent is usually already too far Below Magneto for his HyperGrav to even connect >_< That's why I'm wondering if it's because my Timing's off for the regular air combo series... Or maybe I just end up using the MK as the Hyper Grav and I'm not even realizing it. @_@ Argggh!!

It's really just speed honestly. It's gonna take you a few weeks to have it mastered. The thing that I found odd, is that it seems to me that the Tempest animation forces Hyper Grav to connect. If this is really what happens, I can't say for sure, but once you master the entire set, Hyper Grav seems to connect as long as Tempest follows a split second after Grav.

I am new to playing Magneto myself. I do better with ground types like Silver Samurai, Guile, Hayato, etc. I hate Iron Man, Magneto, Cable, and Storm just because they are spammed like no tomorrow.
