Salvage is weird about drops for our group. We'll have a LOONNNG drought of things, then after we get the first, the second one drops shortly after.

The rest, yes, but you can't even say the Macha's Coat is rare in Salvage especially compared to a ton of other Salvage gear.

Macha's is about as common as the rest, you just need to do more Salvage.

Since server hoping I've been trying to solo this. 0/60 in the few months I've been here. When I was on Odin I was part of 2 seperate Salvage groups and still never seen it drop. I'd say easily 0/100+ on ever seeing one drop. However, I was 2/5 on seeing Ares 35.

In all of Salvage, the only drops I've never seen at all are:

Skadi Body (for me, been 14/15 Skadi for a loooooooooong time)
Usukane Body (killed this retarded turtle so many times, don't have an exact or accurate number, though.
Ares Hands (simply have never tried for it)


Our LS kills Omega every Sunday...hands are rare for us, and we haven't seen body in months.


X's knife: 0/~50. (total count is between 45-50, don't have the exact number)


Personally, low drop rates themselves do not bother me. But X's knife is a special case, being a horrid drop rate coupled with a ridiculous limit of 1 attempt per week, makes me wish horrible forms of torture upon those who programmed that drop rate.

I wish the horrible forms of torture on my friend who went 1/1 on his X's knife and doesn't know how to gear thief.

I'm also 0/38 on Oclub while my friends keep going 1/1, yeah that's getting a little annoying.

Kirin is a whore. I've seen one D-body in 3 years. Lost lot. 0/stopped counting at 50. I've sat in sky for weeks waiting to buy one. Plenty of W-legs, a few N-bodys, plenty of Osodes. 1 damn D-body. They don't exist.

As for those Euvhi Organs, I turned those into stacks of Virtue Stones while camping up some HQ's for Faith, never knew they were rare.

the gothic set damaged my sanity. that was a seriously retarded drop rate. adding to the madness is that i have four friends that got one or the other piece by just killing something random while passing through the areas. i spent 2 fucking weeks in behemoth's shithole. i got lucky in xarc, that was merely an 18 hour red bull-fueled killing spree to get my drop.

Nothing in Dynamis really, took us forever to get SMN horn but after it dropped the first time we ended up getting alot. We have probably got like 35 RDM hats and got like 20 RDM hats before seeing 1 SMN horn.

Only thing in salvage thats really rare is 35 Skadi hands compared to how many times we have killed it. Probably like 0/85 or something on that. Can get 15 macha coats but cant get 1 skadi hands

If you were on alexander there was a point where we might have paid you to take a Shura body! We've had about 10. We do ok on osodes, kinda low on heca but its occasional and have never seen W legs.

0/8 or so on Bodb's Slops. Not that surprising, but we have 2 people with Macha's Slops.
0/15 on Nashira Body. Not a great piece, but we'd still like to see one.

COR AF2 hat...haven't had one drop since they were introduced. Only seen 1 COR belt and it dropped last second, although thankfully everyone managed to pass so someone actually got it before we got booted.

Went probably close to a year or so without W. Legs, then got 2 drops on 1 Kirin our last run. -.-; So I guess that means 2 more years before we get another pair.

Same with Duelist's Chapeau...went a couple years with maybe 1 drop, then we got 3 in 1 run and a 4th on our next run.

However, everyone and their mannequin has their set of BST AF2...
