yeah i'm kind of in agreeance with sera. to be fair, i'm pretty sure she knew i was lying because i'm not a particularly skilled liar. that and she told me her shit was guaranteed to be fucked if i had to bail because i was her last option anyway; she came over here to ask me to take the kid last night at like 9pm because everyone else she knew/trusted to watch her rugrat fell through i guess. so at that point she just begged me to see if there was anyone else at all that sera could call and i just felt too shitty about ditching her to go party to actually go through with it.

also she seemed like she was super afraid to say i was her last ditch option and kind of made this awkward saving throw with a quick "well i just hate to bother you every time i need someone to watch him," but i know it's because last time i had him i said cockstick in front of him and he kept saying it all night. if i were her, i would have just been pleased that he was taught a bad word that required that much enunciation.

I think its cool that you are helping out your neighbor. So how are you going to make sure she never asks you again?

There isnt a "though" about it, you're trying to condemn someone for basically being out of options because she's backed into a wall, a wall created because of a lie. If someone doesn't want to do something, you know what's the easiest way to get out of it? Say no, crazy, I know. You know full well that you hate lying as much if not more than anyone else. Damning someone for being honestly prickish instead of deceitfully prickish is kind of a worthless endeavor. Both people are in the wrong (and in reality one isn't even wrong, I'm basically just throwing you a bone here) but at least one was dead honest about it, sorry.

The whole "It's not wrong because she didn't KNOW" shit is played, you've never thought that way before and to play the card now is contrived, let alone still a bullshit maneuver. Her story of Ivve being her last chance to get to see her friend and the circumstances around it may not justify her delivery but they do at least back up her actions. Ishido is right, you're just looking for a reason to slam the bitch.

yeah, i didn't really push it because it was a lie and she was out of options. if it had been the truth and there was a real emergency, i would have just been like sorry too bad but i know what it's like to go a year or two years or whatever without seeing old friends. that shit sucks and i would hope that if one of my old friends was in the area to visit that they would come through and take care of some of my shit so i could go see them.
