Tampa, Orlando, or Houston?

I have to go to one of the 3 in September for a tech conference.

I've been to Disney World/Orlando, but I hardly remember it.

Which is the best place to go for a week?

The Woodlands, TX
Milan, Italy
Dubai
Madrid, Spain

Choosing any one of these would look bad when the airfare is 5x the amount though, so I better not lol!

Orlando is the tourist Mecca of the world. If you can't find anything to do here over the course of a long weekend, you've got nothing left to live for.

Universal Orlando (including Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) is there for the Disney-phobes. There are also a half-dozen water parks and September is still warm. There's a shit-ton of shopping centers and outlet malls if you have cash burning a hole in your pocket. There's an adequate downtown club scene, and we're about an hour from 3-4 different beaches if you really need to see some ocean.

Actually the Woodlands is awesome. Especially if you like golf. But I'd look into it. Just an hour north of Houston.

damn i can't-not tell you to pick Sydney, i spent a few weeks going down the east coast of Oz & i want to move back there some day.....

Tampa and Orlando. They're only an hour and a half (at max) apart.

Being from Tampa, I can say there's plenty of shit to do if you hang out with the right people...there's Ybor City which is kind of ghetto, but during the day, happy hour is always good to go to. At night, depending on where you go and what day, it could be the ghettoest shit ever, or it could be a good night....Busch gardens is fun for one or two days, but after that you'll really want to do something else. Clearwater beach is nice (a 45min drive) but still definitely a nice place to drink and chill, St. Pete also has a great night life for more contemporary shit.

Orlando is fun as fuck, only because I don't live there and its right across the I-4. Disney is still fun...let me rephrase that, drinking at the bars in Downtown Disney is fun with a bunch of people. You can never really go wrong going to grab a drink at Raglin Road (irish pub), everyone is friendly and looking to start a convo. City Walk at Universal Studios is pretty fun...after 9 you have to be 21 to get into most places. Bob Marley cafe is a great spot for live music (the band there is the shit) and reggae/soca music. International Drive has some of the best outlets in Florida, everything and anything is in Orlando shopping wise. Daytona and Cocoa beach isn't that far away either, and both places are really nice too (Daytona has a lot of bitches, EVERYWHERE, and if you're into Nascar then you could check out the track which is like, right next to the beach).

What else what else...there's a bunch of college shit around there, and seeing how its Summer B, there's a fair share of people on campus and at the bars, if you're in to that. UCF is a pretty campus, and so is USF/UTampa.

There's a lot more...just haven't got enough time going around town to tell.
