Plus, in the tourney scene PS3s are always used if they are on both systems, so many people only have Ps3 arcade sticks.

At any rate, it has now been a lovely 24 days, and still not a single copy in sight within a one hour drive, nor anything regarding my Amazon order.

the 1080i was a misprint confirm by arc system, game only goes to 720p

I'm under the assumption Amazon(.ca) was assuming they were getting a decent supply of copies like everywhere else I know locally, just to end up changing the page to "Out of Stock" a week after I placed an order.

If people weren't charging $88 american for it on Amazon.com (vs. $65 USD for getting it locally), I'd have ponied up the extra cash just to ship it across the border.

And if the game is only 720p on PS3, I don't see what the whole HDMI-360 thing has to do with whether or not one should pick that version over the PS3 copy.
(since 1080p on 360 is just upscaled 720p)

tried to get into welt's room earlier tonight a couple of times, but it just kept hanging at the connecting screen. guessing the room was either full or just plain ol' bugged? who knows.

i ended up whoring a few trophies instead, finally got all the character ones done besides rachel and hakumen, as well as my lv30! really hoping i can get my 200 ranked matches in before i leave, i think it's tied to the machine you're playing on. finally got my 100 trophy at about ~160 total matches, so that'll mean another 140 to get the gold if i have to do it at home.

my w/l is still pretty abysmal for ranked matches (not much better for player matches, for that matter, but we can chalk that one up to low sample size <_<) but i think my game is starting to improve a bit now that i've settled on a main i can actually do semi-decent with.

just wasn't quite the same though, hopefully i can catch y'all again soon and actually get in!

hakumen can kill someone from full health if he counters their barrier burst and does the right combo after it
