Insanecyclone and I will battle it out in the loser's bracket.
Finally got back to a PS3, and as a current (eternal?) member of the fail vs. humans poorly skilled fighterationally challenged "bad as it is" crowd, I'm getting tired of anyone I somehow do well against, either in general or ranked, disconnecting before the last round ends.
Any way to prevent this? >_>
I'm more than willing to be a speed bump in BG tourney play with you guys, Kenshiin et al.
that sucks, I haven't really had that happen to me, only person that lost connection mid-match against me was someone that beat me (literally his connection dropped as it said "finished" as I was down for the count)
What place did you get Welt? Also I played delta-refrain's Litchi and Twins-AR's Jin, god were they annoying. Twins is ranked 6-7th on the leaderboards, while delta's around 12th i think, but delta's no.1 on the Litchi ranking. I haven't played Mixem, I would like some pointers for Tager since I'm trying to start playing all the characters to a certain degree to learn their styles. I still hate picking up Noel (how the fuck does she have guns and yet has the shortest range in this game).
Ik
If there was a tournament I'd be down, but I'm definitely using Tager for that shit.
I'd love a tournament. And btw, why is it that half the time online I see people main one char and when we go at it they always switch to Noel. It literally happens like 50% of the time. And Noel isn't in their sub character. Does everyone think Noel has some advantage over Ragna? Also I need to play against more of you bitches.
I'll play tonight around 10:30 EST.
Those were some good matches Kenshiin. Your hakumen is not bad.
Thanks for the fights, I just switched off Tao today for the first time so I'm giving Hakumen a shot.
Ok, I got two options now regarding the game since I'm fed up with waiting :
1) Pick up standard edition.
2) Pay extra shipping to get a limited edition copy purchased from the States.
Is the bonus content (strat BluRay & 2-disc soundtrack last I checked) worth the extra $10-15 I'd have to spend at this point, or should I just say fuck it and suck it up for the standard?
I think most of us just got the CE because it was the same price as the standard game. I doubt I would have spent more just to get a DVD with a moves list and soundtrack that I could probably find online for free.
here you go a search on youtube that turns up all the videos from the extra content
and just searching for "Blazblue OST" will turn in all the music to you, and alot of them have links to the MP3 downloads if needed.
with that said I bought the CE just to get the game sooner
yeah CE was just a convenience thing, although I'll admit the OST is pretty awesome, really depends how bad you want it/if you like having the shiny shiny version of games.
in any case, anyone want to play tonight? i haven't done any online and wouldn't mind flailing around with a couple other noobish players at some point on XBL, PM me or just leave a response here.
I'll beat dat ass
How many of you have been able to beat Score Attack mode? With Tao I couldn't even get past myself but with Hakumen I've made it all the way to Rachel but she just kicks my ass. I've lost so many times now that I'm doing the 2nd controller cheat in hopes that I can beat the whole thing finally.
Unlimited Rachel makeS ME ANGRY!

Got all the way to unlimited ragna but couldn't get him past 50%. Time to practice with V-13.
Best i've done in score attack is with Jin. lost to unlimited ragna 2-1
After a month of bitching, I finally scored a copy of the damn game. Picked up the last of the two copies of Blazblue my local EB got for PS3 today. Just glad none of the locals pre-ordered it.
Bit excited to play this, been reading through the manual, and there's so much crap for blocks/counters, hell, even the whole 'attack-at-same-time-cancel-out' thing interests me.
Trying out Bang at the moment, sure a slow moving character, but some good control of air space with those jump-pad things.
[EDIT] This is quickly shaping up to be my new all-time favourite fighter, even after all the hours I blew on SF3:3s & VF4 EVO.
On a side note, why do I always end up picking the most annoying voiced character as my first one? Happened with Tekken (Law), VF4 (Lion), and now Bang here on BB:CT.
I just wish the game pre-loaded stuff during the character/stage/versus screens, there's no reason to actually have bloody loading screens between those, and the actual gameplay.
Sure taking me awhile to adjust to the gameplay though. I'm far too used to the old light/med/fierce punch/kick system.
[EDIT2] Unlocked Bang's Astral, nearly 100% his story, just wish I knew you had to *lose* to all the characters you met also ahead of time so I could have just saved prior to fight, lose, then reload data and continue.
Also a bit ticked about online, I can't connect to a single game, at all, and I'm running NAT2 here. Anyone got a clue as to what the problem might be?
