This, except for 2 jobs, and the gf isn't hard to juggle cuz she loves watching me play, and she trains w/ Bang.
Man, I REALLY need major tager practice, so i'll accept it. If i don't go out drinking & in the groove w/ the gf tonight after class, and she wants to replay ffx (we're replaying all the FFs), then i'll be down. I would hope for all of us to be on tonight and get some practice on, I lost my touch w/ ragna.
*edit* yea i'm going drinking and in the groove tonight w/ the gf, then prolly ffx, i more than likely will be on real late, go go day off from work tomorrow!

Some snippets from an interview with Arc System Works' president.
"It's trying to strike the balance between hardcore gamers and not so hardcore gamers," Kidooka says when we ask him where the future of the series, and indeed the genre lies. "We've been doing that for 10 years with Guilty Gear, and all I can say is its difficult, and after 10 years we still haven't found the trick to balance it. Obviously you have to focus on the hardcore users to make it a better game, so our mission is to increase the number of hardcore users playing this, and make sure, on the other side, that it's easier to become a hardcore gamer."
UK gamers have to wait a little longer, with a release coming early next year courtesy of Zen United, and it's likely to be followed shortly after by a sequel, which Kidoora reveals is currently in the early planning stage.
"We don't have any issue with [licence holder] SEGA." Kidooka assures us, "This year and next year we want to focus on BlazBlue – this is our mission, and we'll maintain Guilty Gear while we're doing that, so we're not abandoning it. Being a small company – less than 100 – and with the arcade market being quite small, it's not feasible to do two games at once."
^^ here's to either GG:Accent Core on PSN/XBLA (i hope) or a new GG overall, i'm glad to hear they're not abandoning it. I love blaz but my love for guilty gear is waaaaaaaaaaay higher.
i didn't get a chance to get on either, i have class all day starting tomorrow, so i'll probably be back around 8pmish~, PM me whenever you get on
@tsutsumiko, i'm guessing your xbl account is the same thing? mine's wonkykillbishop and we can definitely relearn litchi =D i love her but she's so complicated compared to tager u_u
I must say i find BB to be well balance fighter, after all Tager is my main and he's supposed to be on low tier and i can beat a lot of ppl online with it, especially V-13.
Not going to be fast into believing things but
sequel or dlc?Blazblue: Continuum Shift(PS3/360)
Not sure to believe it but bb2 should come out in a year or two I'm actually interested in a fighting game's story for once.
edit: new character?! new hud?! it looks like BB

fuck, that's awesome because i love all of the characters in BB, more of them just means more awesome.
Gamertag is "Taijutsu Tsu" (was posted on last page)
I dunno how often I'll be on this week. This week is kinda hectic... out of town from Friday~Sunday night. And I still have to pack and go out and get a haircut and all that. Just add me... if you ever see me on just throw me a message and I'll probably be able to play.
sounds good, and i'll try and find you too sometime tonight nitsuki if possible
Yep I was right to believe this
BlazBlue Expands With Continuum Shift - BlazBlue - Kotaku
Guilty Gear creators Arc System Works achieved some enjoyable level of success with a new fighting game property, BlazBlue. One of the loudest complaints was the comparatively slim roster. Good news about that, courtesy of the newest issue of Famitsu.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will be getting an expansion of sorts in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, featuring at least one new character. That new addition would be Tsubaki Yayoi, a previously unplayable character featured in the original BlazBlue. According to details from Famitsu, we'll also get new stages and a refined HUD.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will reportedly make an appearance at Japanese arcades soon, with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ports expected later. Thanks to Gantz for the heads up!
hope its a DLC because if it is a new game i dont think i'm going to get it.
i'm guessing the pic of that character really is tsubaki?!??! hoooooooooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
@ramor, i hope more people do get on as well, i'm prolly gonna be playing halo odst for the time being, but hit me up for some matches.
@mero, if it's like all the GGs, it'll be a whole new game, if not it'll be a huuuuuuuuge update for the game, cuz it can't be an optional dlc. Overhauling the interface and all, adding new stages and prolly more than 1 character, it kinda seems more than just dlc imo.
Uh, I've seen larger additions done over DLC Nitsku. (Big Surf Island for Burnout Paradise and the Fury expansion for wipEout HD come to mind)
If they expect me to pay full price for a game I already own with just one new character plus extra stages (that are just there for visual pieces and have no effect on gameplay), I'm going to give it a pass.
yea, but you're not ONLY getting that, knowing arcsys, they WILL fix a lot of balance issues as well. I was one to get the different iterations of guilty gears, sadly knowing arcsys as well, they will prolly rerelease the game, but prolly for a much lower price. GG#Reload USA for xbox and GG Accent Core USA for ps2 and wii came out for $20 (i think wii was $40), no one would pay $50 for another guilty gear if people already had XX and didn't think that it was a completely NEW game w/ a lot of added stuff and balance issues fixed. It would be worth it if Arcsys releases the the iteration for $30 or less.
I do agree tho kaisha now that I thought about it, but weren't those optional DLCs that had to be purchased? I don't think people at the same time would be fond of having to purchase the dlc to play the new version. If the dlc were to be charged, they'd have to seperate the people who purchased the possible new dlc, and the people who haven't (which would suck if say you have friends who purchased it and you can't afford it for some unknown reason). It would be nice for the upgrade to be free dlc, but i don't think arcsys will do that.
I honestly think they'll release a new version of bb in stores, but for a lower price. Whether it's lowered or regular price, i'm definitely gonna get it, cuz i'm an arcsys whore.
Speaking of GG should I get the psp GG game? The last GG I played was the 2nd a few years back.
i hope they give tager something, as much as i love him i just get absolutely buttraped against any arakune, i honestly don't think i've ever beaten one
edit: what are (generally anyway) V-13's counter and Arakune's counter? Because both of those fights are just butthurtingly long and boring on Tager so I need someone to counterpick, I'm guessing V-13 is the counter to everyone?
Two options for BB's case as far as online play is concerned :
1) Free balance update, including data for new character so they can play online together with those that purchase the new character
2) Split the game up between non-DLC and DLC owners. (give DLC owners the option to play 'old' mode for their buddies without the DLC)
#1 is done a lot for games these days. You're going to split the online playerbase regardless if it's a DLC add-on or a retail rehash.
Given how hard it was for me to find BB in retail (in Canada) I'd much prefer the DLC route.
balance balance balance balance balance go.
