for arakune, no curse on block and for nu, a sword count like bang, but at least it replenishes slowly.

maybe its yayoi special atk, would be nice if they add hazama , when i first saw the JP trailer i though he was a playable character and i was going to use him but i was sad when i find out he was a side char so to speak

GG ramor, the only character i have complete trouble against is tager, but i'm glad i got some matches in with you. Needs more people gogo

which is good for me because i love playing against noels since there's so many of them out there right now, anytime i'm on and you want some tager practice let me know

also, for tips vs. tager as noel (or most characters) about the best thing you can do is just constantly rush me down, you're going to be able to constantly beat out any of my attacks and unless a tager is really good at backdash -> 360(a/b) you probably won't have any trouble with tager as long as you're just constantly doing high/low mixups and changing your attack patterns. the only thing to watch out for is when the electric gauge is full and i have a voltic spark, because once most characters are magnetized it is very very easy to start dishing out some damage

that's extremely doubtful, nu is extremely important to the story, and arcsys has never taken a character out of any roster UNLESS the character has been replaced completely.

like Dr. Baldhead became Faust in the guilty gear series, and Zato-1 got renamed to Eddie due to the story and cuz of the original voice actor's unfortunate death.

Kliff and Justice became console only chars and banned from tourneys for obvious reasons.

So chances are Nu-13 will get replaced by Nu-11 which will prolly be either a nerfed version of her or unknown. Could be a Nu before noel. I didn't finish the story (so please spoiler it if you post something, i plan to finish it) because i know Noel says to Nu-13 about "being here first".

11 will probably just be a replacement for nu since she IS important to the story. She may just be a side character this time around then but not playable.

It's Lambda-11, i'm more than likely sure she's completely replacing Nu, as far as the character is concerned, she'll prolly be a complete 180 like arcsys did w/ testament going from guilty gear x to xx.

Arakune:
-when D attack hits, curse meter goes up, you can only summon bees after curse meter gets full
-which means you have to hit opponent with D attack at least 4 times to summon bees

Carl:
-J2C is no more overhead move
-no 8D+air throw loop

Jin:
- 5B is very slow
- he has new J2C move(?)
- Yukikaze as a new super

Noel:
- Bullet Rain is no more safe move

Arakune
- when curse meter gets full it goes to FEVER mode
- bees are huge
- once the curse mode starts it wont go away even if Arakune takes hit
- Fog move has no hitbox but if u touch it the curse meter will increase
- YOU CANT GUARD BREAK with bees
-Arakune's new mode (Called Fever mode) is time based, not meter based.

Noel
- 6A doesnt hit on Jin's crouch
- Change to chain revolver, 5C is now 5D
- Combo damage nerfed, combo from 6B does 3100
- u can counter Bullet Rain after Noel lands

System
- Burst becomes GG style, stock up to 2 bursts
- Guard Break works like HnK star style (7 stars under lifebar

RACHEL
Rachel's new super (GIANT GII) uses her remaining wind meter. Effects change depend on how much wind you have.
-After you use wind, it won't recharge for a set amount of time.
-She can use Sword Iris in the air now. Command changed.

What is coming in the new version:
- At least 2 New Characters. Tsubaki is the only one confirmed so far.
- Stages have been redone.
- Many System changes.
- All existing characters receive new moves.
- New Beginners mode in the Arcade version, allows for easy specials and combos.

New Characters:
- Tsubaki is a multi-hit character, beginner friendly. Her drive is called 'Install' which allows her to power up her special moves. Also she wears a hat with wings.
- Second new character is almost certainly Terumi/Hazama.

New Stuff for Old Characters:
- Arakune: New ways to get curse. :I
- Carl: Has a new projectile with Nirvana.
- Rachel: Has a new Distortion Drive.
- Jin: Has a new Distortion Drive.
- Ragna: Has a new dive attack.
- -V-13 has been 'replaced' with -/\-11. Which is to say, she's probably the same character with a different name.
- Everyone will certainly be getting a lot of new stuff but this is all that is confirmed so far.

When is this shit coming out?
- Expected Release Date is in Winter 2009.
- Most likely coming to Arcades first and then PS3/360 later.
- NOBODY KNOWS IF IT WILL BE DLC OR A RETAIL RELEASE AND NOBODY KNOWS HOW MUCH IT WILL COST

- First Loketest is 9/26 & 9/27 @ Hey Arcade in Akihabara. Tsubaki is the only new character in this test version!
- Other loketest dates, are on 10/03 and 10/04 at 池袋GIGO

Story:

AD2200/Jan

A few days have passed since the reported raid by "Ragna the Bloodedge", the SS rank NOL rebel with the highest bounty in history, alias "Grim Reaper". The 13th Hierarchical City "Kagutsuchi" forgets to celebrate New Years, as his alleged involvement in the "Mysterious Bombing" and "Huge Pentacle Sightings" becomes the talk of the town.

With the Novus Orbis Librarium offering no official explanation, the citizens voice their own theories, exaggerating and spreading rumors like wildfire. The name "Ragna the Bloodedge" is engraved in the minds of the people.

Completely indifferent to the state of the city, the silver-haired Grim Reaper grips his massive sword and quietly bides his time—waiting for the chance to achieve his true objective.
