Ask cool as that was, that could have easily been avoided, Arakune is actually so hard to play with online, I don't think I've met one person who could use him very well. I have met a few v-13's that were just fucking nasty though.

yeah, i've had a really difficult time doing anything coherent with arakune online. usually i just get frustrated and wind up trying to tag people with that little curse thing and get them up into the air so i can spam them with insects, haha.

i've been having a lot of luck with v13 online though, not that great with her but once you get the basic hang of it at least, she's awesome for fending off people who tend to just spam shit at you all match long.

also, if anyone wants a cheap and dirty crack at the silver trophy for finishing hell mode... set fights to 1 match, pick hakumen and go to town.

Ain't that the truth! LOL

Everytime I go Noel / Noel mirror match I destroy them, but her D+Down is insanely good....there is no shame is spamming that one.

Actually, a lot of the time I accidently interrupt my combo by inputting a hadoken motion with her gun. The short one is good for resets if you combo it with A+B+C, but that is kind of a waste of meter.....

Edit - Another tip on Noel:

Foward+D(The sweep one), followed by Down, fast up + D (spin kick launcher), A+B+C, juggle, double jump, juggle, air DD

I came up with this one last night, and works well so far. Unless they ABCD out, it all connects without much chance of a roll.

atm i'm using Noel and Tager think i will go Tager full time and sub Noel. Tager feels like a Mack truck just like potemkin but a little bit faster and his special the one that grabs you its awesome.Btw anyone else getting lag online?

I was looking at the back of the case and it says the game runs on 720p or 1080i, my tv only has 1080i but i feel its running in SD. does the game actually runs on 1080i or was it a misprint.

I asked some people that play the 360 and they don't have any. I think it's just psn lagging us because I keep getting a 1-2 sec lag between each attack.

Noel is easy to counter especially with Jin but you need to have REALLLY good timing which I have to work at for online play. Jin Is my main but I'll use Hakumen occasionally just to screw around because you can literally do 3000 points of damage with one combo if you can store up to 8 Magatama.

I was getting lag on PS3 last night. Some matches were good, others were really bad.

Looks like they changed it so you can't see your opponent's character choice in rank matches, not sure if player matches are affected as well. Other than that, no obvious changes that I've picked up on so far.

The patch has fucked up the connection settings for the game. Alot of people are unable to connect to each other thru the friends match setting. I've only been able to connect to one other person and that's it.

I don't think they affect you, but when Bang runs into then he bounces off of them really fast like a bumper.

Bang's the fucking man though, it doesn't even matter if you suck when you can use that stupid ass super move where the cheesy BANG BANG BANG music comes up.
