I recently got this game, and damn some people online are good. Though I just started out with v-13. Not gonna learn any real combos till I'm back home with a dual monitor set up.

If youre gonna play nu you need to learn how to TK j214d (basically 2147d from ground) and used it as an overhead, also 214d~c cancel for that extra awesome pressure.
Yeah, I can do that some of the time, but I'm not playing stick so some of my inputs are sloppy. Still learning basic BnBs like 5C CH > SWORDS!11 and all that. Also, how not to suck at close range and not panic (fucking Tager).
close range you can do lots of stuff, try 2c counter hit 6c then 2d to air combo. also 3c -> gravity well is nice and dont forget any 236d can lead to a rapid 5dd 6dd ect! 2c is a great anti air but you have to the learn the timing its hitbox is huge. also j2c combos are better than the sword ones if you can let it get most of its hits off.
I've tried a few j2c combos, but I usually fuck up the second time or 9 too quickly and only a couple of hits get off. Anyway, thanks for the advice, I can't wait to start practicing properly!
Too bad CS is even more unbalanced than CT...just in a different way.
CS seems pretty well balanced to me and ive watched prolly over 20 hours of video of it. only person that seems to be giving people trouble is bang and maybe litchi, although... rachel RIP her best combo ive seen is a 33hit combo with 50-100 heat(idr) for 4k
No, it's bad, really. They just swung the pendulum towards different characters, but the gap between them is now larger, and thus more unbalanced, and of course rachel, who may as well be unviable since she's in her own class of suck now.
I want to like it, I really do...but it's just bad.
ill just leave these here..

http://d.hatena.ne.jp/video/niconico/sm9316591 - r-1 noel vs a couple people
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/video/niconico/sm9317206 - tager vs bang and some litchis i think
that guy makes tager look gooood.
edit: nvm, that litchi just beasted like a motherfucker
Wow, it took them a year since JP arcade release to realize the SFX for that was way too fucking loud?-Adjustment of SE volume of "Baden-Baden Lily" of Rachel = [aruka-do] and "Sword iris"
Update was nice, although I wish they'd have added filter options for online player matches. Too many times I try to join a game to realize all the other slots on an otherwise 1/6 game, are set to private.
Bit miffed at new unlimiteds being DLC-unlock only.
Interesting little note here, does this mean they're potentially looking at making CS into a DLC overhaul of the original game without having to buy a new disc?-System update to correspond to download contents of offer schedule for the future
If so, sweet. It's a little vague either way though.
If they did I would be more inclined to purchase it, even with the teeth-gratingly-annoying announcer.
The pessimist in me says they won't do that though, but man, it would beat having to hunt for a copy of CS in retail.
(CT is still hard to find in my area)
I never had any trouble finding a copy of CT, but then again the only releases that really seem to draw crowds in Columbus are things like Halo and CoD, so I dunno. Although I have to be honest in saying that I cannot for the life of me find a copy of Demon's Souls anywhere remotely near me.

The PSP version of Arc System Works' BlazBlue comes to North America in March, complete with a new game mode, a shop full of unlockable content, and Unlimited versions of all twelve characters. Check out the announcement trailer.
The 2D fighting game that confused the hell out of button mashers everywhere on the PlayStation and Xbox 360 is going portable. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Portable is coming to North American retail and the PlayStation Store in March, a mere month after the game's release in Japan. The PSP version sports all of the features of the console release albeit a bit smaller, along with several new features exclusive to the portable version. There's the Legion Mode, which is a survival mode with a bit of strategy thrown in for good measure; Shop Mode, where you can spend points accrued during your battles to unlock art and such; and of course, powerful Unlimited forms for the entire cast.
"Every frame of animation and hit box is painstakingly replicated from the original game, so all of your combos work without a hitch. It's really nice when you need your BB fix on the go," says Michael Manzanares, Project Lead. "And new Unlimited versions of your favorite characters don't hurt, either."
Will buy the psp version just because of the new unlimited stuff and legion mode sounds cool.
What would unlimited Carl be anyways? Indestructable Nirvana doesn't sound like much of a boost since a good Carl player rarely lets her get hit.
For anyone in the WNY area, or who wants to come play it...we just got in BB:CS.
The Arcade Culture Preservation Society isn't currently open to the public, so appointment only or on specified open days, just PM me. Unlimited play for any reasonable donation to our cause.
