Reading comprehension is good for you. You cannot parry or evade a TP move while you have shadows up(though for example, a 4 hit tp move could take 3 shadows then have last hit parried.. but if you had 4 shadows it'd always take all 4), go test it on level 10 mobs.Originally Posted by Me

Aha, I actually hadn't noticed that. I was only commenting in general anyways, about avoiding not canceling Ni due to high Acc. Things like Roc, Sim, I still cancel Ni anyways to be safe.
Could also just be habit (or spellcast), I cancel Ni without even thinking when I'm casting ichi nowadays no matter what I'm doing
Did him canceling Ni really bother people enough to warrant a half page discussion on it, with a parrying/shield derail for good measure?
Considering the entire OP was barely worthy of the Randomer Question thread and was solved in the first 2 posts, just about everything that could be posted here is a derail.
Mob's ws will not miss, and cannot be parried/blocked/guarded/etc, if you have shadows up. Of course if you have 2 shadows up, you can still block/evade/parry/etc the third hit, since you won't have any shadows up for it.
No you haven't. It just attacks at completely random intervals (something like 1.5~5 secs or so). While mostly true, I believe I've seen him do a melee attack between head butts.
Ceremonial dagger damage? And you're engaged while soloing Scarscute why? In this case, it's a non-issue.
That's completely different. They will always miss at least 5% of attacks, on top of a minimum 5% parry rate. Scarscute on the other hand has 100% hit rate, with 0% parry rate. The only thing you accomplish by canceling utsu2 is adding a risk of getting hit between when you cancel it, and when you finish casting.Things like Roc, Sim, I still cancel Ni anyways to be safe.
