    A Moral Manifest?

What kind of set up do I need for this quest and whats its general difficulty ect? Want to upgrade my head since I town gear it w/ full usu since it matches

    Edit:
    # Go to Windurst Woods, to the Weavers' Guild and talk with Ponono, the Clothcraft Guildmaster, for a cut-scene. Ponono will need a Velvet Cloth, Rainbow Cloth, and 10,000 gil to help out.
    # Trade the requested items and gil to Ponono at the same time. Zone and wait until at least the next day (after 0:00 Vana'diel time) to talk to Ponono again for a cut-scene, at which point you will receive a Yagudo Cutting item, and the recipe of the Yagudo Headgear that requires it. (Note: If you wish to receive another Yagudo Cutting, you can get more from Ponono for 100,000 gil each.)
    # The Yagudo Cutting item is used in a high skill Clothcraft recipe to craft the level 61 headwear Yagudo Headgear, which is required for the rest of the quest. Neither the Yagudo Headgear nor the Yagudo Cutting can be sold via the Auction House.
    # Return to the Altar Room while wearing the Yagudo Headgear, for another cut-scene and to receive a key item.

If I already have a yag head, can I skip tha tmiddle portion?

yes, afaik. I'm pretty sure you don't have to talk to the NPC and get it crafted if you already have one. The tricky part about these quests is the fights themselves, it seems. They seem pretty challenging unless you have a group willing to help.

The only info wiki gives on the fight is that you only need to kill the main NM and that the others are sleepable >.>

I was thinking of a sleeper and a back up sleeper rdm brd me as mnk or sam and 1-2 other dds. Sleep the small NMs and go apeshit on boss. Any chance of that working? How much hp does it have ect?

Edit: Looks like I'm not able to skip the middle man. Zoned back in w/ yag headgear and no CS

You can duo it if you depop all the helper mobs. Since most of them are casters, they'll hang back as you run the whole group to the zone, so they'll get back to the ??? first and depop sooner than the melee types.

I did it with my fiance on NIN and me on RDM. Took about 10 mins or so to kill the main NM with just the one source of damage. Kept the elemental slept the entire time and Astral Flow wasn't too terrible when it 2hred.

Don't see why it couldn't work. Can keep the elemental slept with Repose. NM hits decently hard but isn't too bad with debuffs on.

Just be careful with the zoning. Can lose HP fast if you get a lot of the helpers swinging at you.

So, after running the group to the zone, zone back in and follow them to the ??? without tourching them. Then grab the main NM in the moment between mage-helper depops and the NM's own depop, do I have the sequence right?

With regards to the remaining Beastmen hat fights, I'm wondering how to handle the helpers, since in some cases most of them may be melee. Perhaps Sleep/Bind/Gravity the main NM near the zone, then zone out. Or maybe Sleepga the whole group, wake the NM and take it to zone, then zone out just before the group of helpers wake up.

Also wondering if NPC fellows would be able to help with this, mine's up to level 69, gradually getting to 70. I see the NMs are at 75, so the level gap doesn't seem like it would be too huge for the NPC fellow.

Yeah, there are a few different ways to work it. Once you zone them all the first time, the mage group should get back to the ??? first since they're closer and they'll depop before the other set. Depending on how far back they're lagging, you may be able to grab the NM before they even get back to the ???. I think I picked up the NM again about halfway down the tunnel. Threw a sleep on the MNK or SAM since it was too close and linked, then zoned again. Kept rezoning the NM until the other Yag woke up and got far enough away to not link again.

If you have a sleepga, can probably throw that on the whole group at the start and then zone the NM. If nothing resisted, can zone back in and pick up the NM again easy.

I know the wiki has them listed as 75, but they hit way harder than an EM should. I remember my fiance commenting that it didn't feel like an EM when he was fighting too, so take the level with a grain of salt.
