Vagna very decent PLD has some nice equip for it also, his DRK is pretty well geard too. Nice guy from what I remember at camps stayed out of /say rants ect.

Both members were kicked from Apotheosis.

One thing that should be stressed from the get-go is that they both share each others account information, and play each others accounts frequently.

Simba is a young player. I will admit while I can't stand him in game, he has seemed to mature a bit. However, while he was in Apo, he annoyed the absolute piss out of about 90% of our members. He even went so far as to harass one of the RL married couple we had in the shell, accusing them of being bad parents because they played the game so frequently, etc. While it was a long time ago, that situation sticks out in my mind, as it was incredibly distasteful. That was when he received his warning about being kicked, but with this came his chance to shut up and take fault. Needless to say, he didn't, and he was kicked about 30 minutes later.


Vagnagun was a very old member. He got basically everything he could have wanted from Apo, maybe not Hauteclaire, but everything else. He was an exceptional member for most of his time in the linkshell.

However, he is not being played by the original player anymore, but by the original players younger brother. The original Vagnagun had informed us about a year or so ago now that he would be leaving for military boot camp, and that he would return within a few months. No problems there. When he left he was an incredibly active member, and was even a sack holder for a long time. When (or if, I should say) he returned however, his playtime never fully recovered, nor did his interest in end game activity. It was more than often that he would take pearl off for events, and do things like salvage, ZNM, (mostly ZNM as him and Simba were in the same ZNM shell) Nyzule, etc.

With his interest declining in LS events, and his attitude about attending them even worse, (We had officers having to beg this guy to come help on some claims) we decided to just cut our losses and kick him. While we did lose a great amount of gear with the removal of him from the linkshell, (including a Cerb+1 that should have been returned) we don't tolerate that kind of attitude in the linkshell. Another problem that arose was when Vagnagun would be questioned about who was actually playing the account. We, of course, wanted the original Vagnagun back. They (Simba and the younger brother) claimed that he had returned, yet it never did seem like it was the same Vagnagun ever playing again, as he had somehow lost a lot of his in-game talent (Vagnagun was an exceptional player, his brother and Simba, are not, to say the least). Questions like this would often lead to the player being incredibly defensive, making claims like, "Why would you even want the real Vagnagun back, you and him never got along." Obviously, this was beside the point to me, while me and Vag weren't the best of friends, everyone did appreciate his membership in the linkshell, and even I won't deny his benefit to the LS.

I would also like to point out that we did have problems with Simba logging into Vagnagun's account after previously being kicked from the LS, and attending events as Vagnagun without anyone's knowledge.

[U]1st off, if you don't recall my reason for being kicked mythe, it involved drama concerning 3 people. While I do admit it was not the best thing to make personal comments, they made personal comments to me too. I might be able to dig up the logs still. As for those 3 people, all 3 left apotheosis shortly after I left on horrible terms with you guys and plenty of your gear. And yes, I told you to break my pearl and said I would not shutup til I got an apology. Because I had wrote out one for this guy when asked by ldr and this person couldn't even acknowledge it, as mature as they were.

Now mtythe where you post contains some faults:
The real and original Vagnagun plays his account 85% of the time if not more, and I play it 15%, I don't know where you get your facts from considering I'm the only person that talks to him in real life, while you two never even talked in game. His brother no longer plays and hasn't for 2 months. When vag left to military, I had quit ffxi so only his brother was playing. After 6 months I came back. Upon returning, I had a discussion with you where you stated he was being "fishy" because he only logged on for a few days a week and not that long like his brother used to. (Like some of us don't have jobs rl). Well, the real vag would come back on vacations for a few weeks at a time. Eventually he finished his training and has since moved to japan where he is stationed, and is back to playing everday, and a lot since he has access to ffxi there.

As for me logging on, uhh probably 50% or more of apo knew I was on vag so speak for yourself not the linkshell please. I also don't see why you have to make it seem such an issue, the real reason vag was kicked was because me and me alone. You couldn't bare the fact that he and I were friends and I had access to his account. However I only logged for 1 eihnerjar, 1 nidhogg, and to camp khim twice. Which I still don't understand, he and I are good friends, I had no hnmls. Yet you kept saying I can steal tods! Lol like that's what I camped khim and nid for. For tod so I could solo claim and kill the next day. When apotheosis leader, elefterio, logged on he admitted to me that you overreacted and jumped to conclusions about me logging on vag and that it wasn't even an issue.

While I won't say your post is completely absurd, I will say therew are many half truths, exaggerations, and one sidedness to a two story issue. I am not saying I'm perfect, but I do think I have matured a lot since the ls. Was 2 years ago when I was 15. Am almost 18 now. Also, I think our drama stemmed from some personal issues with me, you, and vag, but not because of how we played. I think we are very skilled, and dedicated players who know our jobs well.

Also, not like it matters much but for your own self, since you seem to base all your facts off of inferences. Vagnaguns brother is a couple years older than him. Not younger. Vagnagun was only gone for 6 months at training. And for my defending myself being young, you're young too, so I don't see how that is of any importance. And being out of apotheosis and all hnmls for over a year avoiding drama, I've met many social ls people who say you annoy them too. Oh idk, maybe 90% of the people said you "absolutely piss them off". Get off your high horse, there's always going to be haters out there.

I figured you would come here to defend yourself, oh well.

First off, Vagnagun was kicked because members complained he got "special treatment", by not being asked to attend camps, etc. Which he would just blow off, because he didn't "feel like" attending. Icien (a fellow Apotheosis leader) can confirm this. He was not kicked because you had access to his account. But no, I did not like you being on his account, who would honestly expect anyone to be ok with that? You were kicked from Apotheosis, you should have had no ties to the linkshell from that point forward, or had any business attending any of our events, for any reason at all. Period. As far as him acting "Fishy", I meant it. So did a lot of members in the linkshell. He was antisocial with most members, and wasn't willing to attend camps or events that didn't include Khimaira or Einherjar, has he had wanted Hauteclaire and Valhalla pieces. Several members, including friends that he often let borrow gear of his, warned me that he planned on leaving Apotheosis after he received these items. Obviously he wasn't allowed to lot them, not only due to what was stated above, but due to poor performance and attendance within the linkshell. As much as you like to involve yourself in everything, I must stress the fact that you, Simba, had nothing to do with the removal of Vagnagun from our linkshell.


Second off, I am not on a "high horse", in case you didn't know, this is a background check. And it is open for interpretation by anyone on Seraph who knows of you, and Vagnagun. I had a lot of experience with both of you, and am now sharing it. What I have stated are facts, while they do come from my point of view, that is what this thread is asking of me. So my response is 100% appropriate.

As far as you saying you have a social LS with people who don't like me, why the fuck should I care? I'm sure there's a lot more people than that who dislike me, and in case you didn't notice, this thread isn't about me. It's about you, and Vagnagun. You just make yourself look poor by adding stupid shit like that into your response, as if defending yourself in your own public background check didn't already make you look bad enough.

If you really wanted to appear grown up, you wouldn't have responded. You would take what people say about you (unless it was some sort of ridiculous accusation, which my post is not) and what people think of you like a man, accept their opinion as their own, and hope that you would get admission to this new LS you wish to join.

Also, Vagnagun has many pieces of equipment that belong to a friend and previous LS mate of his, Zarko. Who has recently returned to the game, I am not sure if he has returned or will be returning the items or not. While it isn't incredibly relevant directly right now, it may become a topic of issue depending on whether he does return the gear or not, now that Zarko is playing again.

Vagnagun is a great friend of mine, a very talented player, most of his jobs are very well equipped. I've had my fair share of arguments with him, but he's one of the best guys I've met while playing. He'd be an asset to your linkshell. I won't speak about his kicking, because I really don't know the full story about it. He's capable of leading, and if he isn't leading, you don't need to babysit him. As for simba, honestly I don't know him quite as well, but I've never had a problem with him. He plays whm well enough to not have to complain about him.

I did mention it before, and I feel as if I'm coming off in an incredibly negative light in terms of Vagnagun's ability. He was a great asset to the linkshell in the past, and if he gave that type of effort to whatever linkshell he was in, he would be a excellent member.

However, I am also commenting on my most recent experience with him, and expressing my concerns about his recent behavior.

I agree with Uroxin though, he was a great member for most of his time in our linkshell (as I said two posts ago, and here).

About Simba.

That guy is sometimes -very- annoying. He's speaking a way too much, and showing off everytime he can: "see, i got that and that, and also that, not saying im completing that set, and my blm isnt even blablablabla". Sure it's something you can deal with, but yeah, it is annoying. sorry simba. We can see your gear and guess how you got it.

BUT

He's an incredible WHM from what I saw. I did a few pick up salvage with him. He would always make you go with him as solo healer. He's always bringing medicine to make it happen and he's doing his job perfectly. The most impressing thing was during a bhaflau with some retarded player. We made it to LBC, unnerfed. I was mnk and of course my poor tank kept dieing and so does other (HM going off a way too much). At 30% it was only me and simba fightning, other being dead without RR... And we made it. I dont know how but he was able to keep me alive VS a terribly nasty LBC, so yeah, I'd say he's a good whm.



Vagna, I never did much with him, only merit PT where he was indeed pretty good.

Being friends with Vag ever since we were both noobs I know how he is and what he is about. Vagnagun is a very good player, his jobs have amazing gear give or take and he knows how to play them. I would definitely agree with Uroxin and say he is a great asset to your LS.

As for Simba I haven't known him for a very long time probably about a year and a half but have done plenty of ZNM/Salvage/Nyzle etc. He is a great WHM nothing much to say there and a very solid upcoming BRD. Been a great friend and always helping whenever asked.

I might not agree with everything said in their background app I'm not going to get into that.

I had some contact with both players, they both are pretty solid. As Asya said Simba is a very good WHM I did a few pick up Salvage runs with him as well. As for the drama they keep talking about the married couple (now I'm just taking a wild stab in the dark here, if it's about Zuzupetals and Qwee) I wouldn't hold it against him at all lol.

Vagna did some events in a sky LS together and he's always seemed like a very solid player to me also from a competing HNMLS player's point of view. I've always thought of him as a good PLD because I've never seen the bastard die while tanking something XD

Beyond everything that was said, both Simba and Vagnagun are great players. I would recommend them to your LS. I'm a bit disappointed that they changed servers but hope all the best for them.

In my opinion, Simba may seem annoying to some people, but he's a really nice guy and a player with good play-skill. I have never had a problem with him. The same applies for Vagnagun; I'm not sure how well his brother plays, although he seemed to play often lately? I wasn't exactly sure who was playing but it seemed that his playskill had declined from the time before leaving from the military.

Yes, Vagnagun was kicked for missing an event; I wasn't very excited that he was, but he shouldn't have recieved special treatment and been allowed to miss camps just for being an old member.

In closing, although there will always be some negative remarks for everyone; they are good and dedicated players, hopefully your LS is a better fit for them?

i'd like to point out that vag changing servers with my gear was an accident. i haven't played for close to 9 months and he was under the impression that i had quit permanently. the gear was returned upon request and everything's dandy.

anyway, i've known vag in-game for a good 4 years+. we were part of a social LS together long before apotheosis was created. he is a very good tank. back in apotheosis' early days, he would easily show up any other tanks on hnm's like vrtra. his pld and drk are geared very well and he played them both like a pro. was very disappointed to hear of him being kicked from apo. big loss. it's a shame things didn't work out,

I know both of these guys very well because I party with them 95% of the time.
Simba and Vag were played by vags brother for a very long time until Vag finished Boot camp. Vag started playing his character now all the time after he finished boot camp.
Simba now plays his own character 100% of the time I believe. Vag's brother does not play Vag's account anymore.

Simba and Vag are really good friends. Simba even gave him a pair of Hachiryu Haidate.
These two are about one of the only people who switched our server that did not steal a giant LS bank, a Kraken club, or commit any fraud or theft lol.

Both players are extremely skilled and I believe Vag has full ares set and Simba has full marduk. Simba has the highest cure potency in the entire game that Whm can have. He even had the roundell earring. When We did salvage together, they were capable of leading salvage events and noone had to babysit each other (thats a huge plus).
They also have lots of experience in ZNM tier IV, which not many people on our server do because alot have never done ZNM Tier IVs before as its still kind of a new event.

Simba and Vag would never steal anything or get you killed by a lack of skill.
I judge players by their skill, honesty, equipment, and experience on just about anything. Thats what these 2 should be judged on when server transferring.
If they talked about a married couple, that is irrevelant to the game.
I'm sure you have your own set of rules Makeveli that they must follow such as respecting everyone in your LS and attending events.
According to posts here, maybe they broke both those rules in their former LS. They shouldn't be judged on such little mistakes.

I like mythe,simba,vag,sinder,icien. I don't take sides or flame any of them. I'm just saying...

Simba and Vagnagun do not take part in stealing LS banks, ninja lotting, MPKing, or lack skill to hinder anyones performance in an important make or break battle. (which most server transfers seem to do these days lol.)
Kind of disappointed I seen Vagnagun and Simba on the friends list with a <remora> written next to their name. wanted to spend my last year playing with them.

I didn't know Vagnagun that well at all but I have never heard anything bad about him.

But, I have known Simba for years. In an earlier post someone said he is a bit annoying, but I don't see how he is annoying at all. He is a joy to talk to xD It's sad to see him go :/ But I can still talk to him on my friend's list. We were in a LS together a long time back. He is a very good player, has great common sense, helpful, and very knowledgeable about ffxi.
And on top of that he is taru!!

To olo: its a different vag, seems like an uncommon name but like 5 different people had it across servers. Unfortunately I'm no longer "Simba" because that was taken on like every server lol. But yes, that's a different vagnagun, anyone on seraph could probably clarify that.
