More than just sleep, I'm extremely interested in the mind. I was actually toying with the idea of neurologist for a bit. The human mind just fascinates me.

Edit: I might look it up sometime when I have a chance, but would anyone else be interested on some sort of study that relates how well information is retained with how close it is acquired before sleeping.

Phone interview went super sweet. Before the interview started they gave me a time-line on things, next week I'd hear if they were going to offer me an actual interview at their plant, then a decision would be made for an offer two weeks or so after that. At the end they sounded pretty interested. After all of my questions related to the position were done (like me asking the questions), we were talking about the storms that hit St. Louis last week. Always gives me confidence when during an interview they get more personal like that.

The position itself sounds fucking awesome. It's developing training software that the military pilots use. It's an actual simulator that moves, shakes, has all of the actual instrumentation used in the plane. I'd be working with the pilots to help make the simulator behave like the actual plane (and that includes me getting to play around in the simulator). Pictures of some of their simulators:

That's fantastic bro. If you end up getting that job there will be about 5 times a year that we get to bro it up pretty hard core, seeing as how St Louis is literally my second home.
