Edit: New Naked Science on right after as well. The episode is titled "Hawking's Universe" New theories about the origin of the universe including something called a "reverse black hole" which I have no idea what it is but it sounds interesting.

Yeah the Hawking universe show was basically an update 20 years after his ground breaking "A brief history in time" book he authored. If you have read his new book "A briefer time in history then it is on point with that for the most part.

Another good read that I would suggest to everyone as well. Stephen Hawking's books are always a good read.

If you go to the [More] section, you can view the different parts of the image; they show a composite on that link. Still, fairly neat stuff. 1 galaxy getting blown through a couple others. I wonder what would happen if their core's interacted? Might be some interesting data to see if they did.

Yeah galaxy collisions are awesome, I used to have my wallpaper set as "The mice" galaxy and it is still one of my favorites of all time.

I have it plastered all over my Galaxyzoo.org account folders. That is a beautiful picture nonetheless.
