Circumcision is becoming less and less common in America, actually. As long as men practice basic hygeine having a hood is never a problem. I can't speak for women but I know gay men prefer uncut to cut.

Real talk though, circumcision aside from religion happened because it was believed that poor hygiene led to penile cancer, bullshit has been called upon this quite a while ago but it had been believed for quite a while, that circumcision became the norm in America and the UK too. Since it has been disproved though, it is becoming a lot less frequent in the UK. Not sure about the US, but when my Son was born here, they asked if I wanted to have him circumcised or not, was it a choice for those from previous generations?
