Yeah, I would say it's okay to use what force he did when the pastor: (1) Pushed him; (2) Fled into the Church; (3) Attempted to stage a riot against the officer with 40 other people.

If the police lied, and the cop was deranged, they would have released a public statement or condemnation of him and already suspended him-- and that would have no doubt been mentioned in the article.

You must have not been to alot of court hearings Demo, I have NEVER seen a judge rule in favor of a defendent (against a cops testimony) no matter how many of their friends/witnesses they had and no matter what evidence. Seriously, the justice system takes care of itself.

Not that I think this cop was lying, as it sounds like that congregation got pretty rowdy if 40 fucking people came outside to confront him.
