The cops only regret was that he couldnt tase more of them.
regardless of what happened later in the incident, the pastor showed himself to be a douchebag right off by getting involved in the traffic stop in the first place. I mean, shit. It's a traffic stop. What business does he have? He wasn't pulled over, he's not a cop. It doesn't involve him at all. The driver was probably just going to get a ticket (which he can fight in court- the proper place to discuss such matters). Big fucking deal.
I've seen people deal with the cops before when things went poorly. I love watching COPS. I've dealt with the cops personally several times before (Being on the executive board of a fraternity has it's...perks). While there are certainly instances where police escalated a situation for no reason, overwhelmingly the people drive it. I mean, you can't be an obnoxious shitbag and then cry foul when the cops pin you down and taze you.
I mean, really. What did the pastor expect? He'd flash his God Badge and the cop would just leave? He had nothing to do with what was happening.
both sides are probly lying, silly to even try to defend either.
I really love that everyone here takes the Bill Mahar approach. If you're even slightly religious you must be insane. Neither side was really right here, but not every religious person is a wackjob.
