You act like noone here has a clue, up until October last year i worked totally for myself, then a builder who owed me nearly 20K went under. Left me owing the wholesalers 10K plus what i had paid out already in wages. Because my funding was fucked i couldnt take on more work the banks wouldnt help and im now facing losing my car/home whatever else they care to take. However some people will just give in and let the horrible shitty feelings beat them. I know because ive had the months where i just really cant be bothered to try anymore. But im not likely to give up without at least a fight. Its took me months to get back into work.

Oh, I'm certain people here have a clue, however, saying, "If losing work has affected you so badly why not do something to get back to work..." is somewhat pointless. Why infer I haven't been trying? There are people with college degrees applying for jobs at convenience stores. I'm trying for UPS in my area right now, but who knows if I'll even get that job.

Its not pointless, its all about not getting stuck in a rut and thinking your not going to be able to get the job. People with college degrees can apply all they like but thr truth is a HR manager in a supermarket doesnt care if you have a degree in accountting, they care if you can fill the shelves and provide good service to their customers. Many of these will get straight rejection because they know they will leave as soon as something else comes up.
