NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.

The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Ave. Police said it looked like a double homicide. A female victim was also found dead.

I always thought he was one of the good guys in sports- good teammate, leader, played hard, wasn't all bling bling. This sucks either way because if he was murdered then a good person was murdered and if he killed her and himself then he wasn't the good guy he seemed to be. Meh.

I'm with you on this one. As a football fan, I always saw him as one of those guys that was tough to root against, even if he was playing your team.
