Looked to me like they were just being extra deliberate to prevent any chance of a 1% wipe which would tempt someone to try to steal it solo.

Also was there any testing about what was said in the interview in regards to the delay between when PW uses Astral Flow and when the Lamps actually do the AF Blood Pacts, or did they just do the zerg-and-wipe again?

I'm sure that what they're referring to is Diaga to the lamps immediately when they pop so the Astral Flow hits the person outside the alliance.

I never would have thought of that possible strategy to bend the mechanics of astral flow to bypass it upon the alliance.

Ya there is a several second delay between PW summing lamps, and PW using AF. First it will summon all 8 lamps, if you diaga them, shortly after all 9 avatars will spawn and be on the player who casted diaga, that player runs out of range and takes the AF solo. Lamps /as PW's hate list when they spawn, and avatars /as lamps hate list when they spawn.

that's interesting but then don't you still have the lamps to deal with after the AF goes off, wouldn't there be a preemptive hate list out of the spawning that would share hate and then after they kill the solo player come back to wreak havoc or would they de pop after they kill the person who placed hate on them.

They despawn after they use Astral Flow. You do still have the lamps to deal with after the avatars are gone.

One thing I can say is that if someone gets AFed with low HP solo it will kill them with say 1/9AF getting off on them to kill them. With MDB -MDT I took 0DMG with SS from someone getting AFed right beside me, obviously due to the fact that only 1/9 hit.
