I think I know about fighting games because I paid attention to competitive fighting games, all of the terms I just dropped relate to far more games than brawl and none of them referred to brawl primarily.

Even charismatic will admit that melee is far far far more technical than he thinks brawl is and yet one of the best players in the world was a blatantly non-technical player. The best player in the world NOW plays the single least technical character in the game with no advanced techs, nothing but proper spacing going for it, it doesn't mean that they dont try to be as technical as they can be when the situation comes up. Calling "bullshit" on that was the wrong fucking move.
