I used to be obsessed with Astronomy when I was a kid, but fell off for some reason as my attention shifted more towards history and politics. I still watch NDT every time he's on Colbert though and he seems like an amazing person to talk to. If he posts on BG I might get starstruck.

I talk to an Astrophysicist and gets mind blooooown.

There's no reason to believe that he wouldn't post here, to be honest. If he has time to answer calls from the Average Joes and Mizangos of the world, there's no reason to believe he wouldn't empty some of his brain out for us too. In all of his interviews he always talks about more math and science education in schools, so the proliferation of the subject straight from the source should be like top priority for him.

My dad bought my grandfather the full dvd collection of Sagan's show, but I don't know what happened to them since he died. I might see if I can find them, all of this astrophysics talk is getting me intrigued about the subject again.
