This might sound odd, but Kubira Beads vs. P charm for tp gain when Acc can be capped with Kubira Beads. 3atk, 3acc, 4 Dex, 4Str.

It's too damn easy to cap acc on War. I was also wondering how relevant STR is to fstr for War using a GA. I'd have 77+36Str 69+31 Dex using Beads.

    1) 85% with meat build is gotten with several accuracy gears. Just removing 2 HQ rings puts you easily under 80%, PCC for a sea torque even less. I'm not even mentionning cuchulain. It basically means that a "serious pizza build" has more attack and more accuracy than a "serious meat build".
I'd like to see the gear changes you'd make to sit at 85% Acc be more than 80+ att.

Genuine question: How much acc do you need to cap on mamools (excluding thf)?

Once I get my sea gorget, which I'm about 4 organs away from getting, this what my WS gear will look like on SAM:

    http://www.ffxiah.com/members/?q=item_sets&set_id=93884

Here is my question: I am not able to play on comp at this time, so I can't use infinite macros. With how often I WS, there is no way in freakin hell I'm making two TP macros and two WS macros making me hit 4 freakin macros just to WS.

Right now I'm using chiv chain in this spot for when I WS. I'm also going to have to drop my +3 STR boots for the spot for the gorget. So thats +6 STR. So I'm wondering if the gorget is going to be better than the +6 STR I have right now.

I have read that the gorget gives about +15 STR becuase it increases fTP by
.1 or whatever. Honestly, any talk about fTP melts by brain and I just get completely lost. But, from that it seems like the gorget is the clear winner. But I just thought I would ask you guys what you think.

    tl;dr

6 STR vs. Sea Gorget for YGK.

    Use the macro palletes.

    WS Macro:

    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    /macro book #

On the same line within the # of the book you used:

    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    /macro book #

Same deal as the other macros, but instead use

    Gear
    Gear
    Gear
    WS

Put TP Gear macro next to the WS macro with similar lines (Not including the WS part of course). That allows for nine gear changes. You can also add more using another macro book (Alternative to books, you can use /macro set #). Technically it's 6 Macros total, but you're only going to see two macros at a time.

    meat build (80 attack) : Hades sainti+1 ,cuchulain's, A torque, hollow, torreadorx2 + full usukane ~ 373+80=453 attack/414 accuracy.
pizza(+1) build : Full usu, STR ring, raja, faith torque, mermain's earring, foragers ~ 405+55=460 attack/423 acc.

Pizza build has also more str, and is even more beneficial on lurkers/skaffin as you can swap to acc gear and get the full benefit from the 11% acc.

To cap on all mamools (any level) except ninja and lurkers you need 423, which for instance you can't get as MNK with full usukane, cuchulain's, Ancient torque, toreadorx2, hollow, black tathlum and Shelong's.

Speaking of MMJSP accuracy caps - has anyone tried to compile a list of acc cap figures per camp/ mob all in one place? I have several of them written down in various places/ memorized the ones I use the most, but I'd be interested in trying to get a more detailed resource made that would have the majority of the figures for the popular camps/ mobs all in one place.

There was one posted a week or two ago in Randomer I think, well not acc caps but eva/def values so you could figure out the caps, I was just thinking about that today that I needed to track that back down.

How exactly does this work? do you have tho press the macro again and again after it swaps book?

I didn't know this was possible, personally, but it looks like you'd push the same macro 3 times in a row to swap to gear and then WS. Then you'd push a different macro 3 times to go back to TP gear and move back to the original macro set. Definitely an interesting solution.

    Building WS for Spinning Slash.

Generally speaking I have focused all out on STR (as it also adds attack). Is attack about equal to STR for Slash, due to the STR mod being far lower than that of Y/G/K?

I ask as i have, say, been using heca body over Haub+1 (no Ares body...)

Yes this is how it works.

Edit: Example using macro set (Can use book if you like as well)

    Macro Set 1
    [WS1][TP1]

    Hit [WS1]

    Macro Set 2
    [WS2][TP2]

    Hit [WS2]

    Macro Set 3
    [WS3][TP3]

Hit [WS3] to WS then hit [TP3] to go back to [TP2]. Hit [TP2] and you go back to [TP1]. Hit [TP1] and you're all set.

It looks like a lot, but you're really hitting two macros in rapid succession.

I do this for asuran fists, I believe that was what SE intended player to do for multiple gear swap macros. From my experience ctrl 1>1 without waiting time after pressing 1 the first time make the macro work, while ctrl2 > 1 doesn't always load if you do it too fast.

You can just hold down the macro selection button, alt, ctrl, L2, R2, and tap X or the number, the macro set will swap and come up each time you tap X.

I did a WS macro on Set 4, swaps to Set 7 and WSes, then TP macro on Set 7, swaps to Set 4.

    Sounds like alot of mashing, but I just held down L2 and hit X, X, then held down R2 and hit X, X, 10 full swaps. /equip x 5 /set > /equip x 5, ws > /equip x 5 /set > /equip x 6 TP gear.

Just want to add, I do this with BLU macros (BLM macros I also use multiple macros but it's a complicated system of switching macros and sets that has evolved over the years lol), and it's much preferable to do this with "/macro set" rather than "/macro book". Reason being that some day you will be tired or flustered or whatever, and somehow find yourself on the wrong palette, just from having hit the wrong macro or hit macros in the wrong sequence. From there it's much easier to switch back to the correct set than it is to switch to a different book.

Also, what you may also want to do is copy essential single macros onto each set, and have the ones that aren't on your primary set have a line that sends you back to it. So every set is either part of a multiple-macro gear-swap sequence, or it's a copy of a single-macro event but with an additional line sending you back to your primary macro set.

If that wasn't clear, what I mean is this. On book 16, macro set 2, alt-6 is the first set of my BLU physical gear swap (with /macro set 3 at the end), and book 16, set 3, alt-6 is the second set of my BLU physical swap, etc. Head Butt is set 2, alt-7, so what I did was copy it to alt-7 of set 3. That way, should I need an emergency Head Butt, it's always in the same spot regardless of if I somehow ended up on some other macro set from my primary. Additionally, Head Butt macro on set 3 also has the line "/macro set 2" at the end, so if I was on my non-primary set by accident, it'll take me back there automatically.

    Hope this is helpful.
