Reason being that some day you will be tired or flustered or whatever, and somehow find yourself on the wrong palette, just from having hit the wrong macro or hit macros in the wrong sequence. From there it's much easier to switch back to the correct set than it is to switch to a different book.

Also, what you may also want to do is copy essential single macros onto each set, and have the ones that aren't on your primary set have a line that sends you back to it. So every set is either part of a multiple-macro gear-swap sequence, or it's a copy of a single-macro event but with an additional line sending you back to your primary macro set.

If that wasn't clear, what I mean is this. On book 16, macro set 2, alt-6 is the first set of my BLU physical gear swap (with /macro set 3 at the end), and book 16, set 3, alt-6 is the second set of my BLU physical swap, etc. Head Butt is set 2, alt-7, so what I did was copy it to alt-7 of set 3. That way, should I need an emergency Head Butt, it's always in the same spot regardless of if I somehow ended up on some other macro set from my primary. Additionally, Head Butt macro on set 3 also has the line "/macro set 2" at the end, so if I was on my non-primary set by accident, it'll take me back there automatically.

    Hope this is helpful.
Ya I stole the idea from your BLU Magic advice (Months back). I've since used it mildly for DRG and BLU, but extensively for SCH (SCH macros are like their own menu).

would depend if capped or not w/no legs and no better trades could do for acc:att/str rating.

    Kinda time sensitive question:

King's Justice - Shadow Breastplate or Heca body?

    STR10 ACC5 ATT25 vs STR12 ACC10

Haub+1. With those two, I'd take Shadow body for when Aggressor is up or any other capped accuracy situations.

For KJ i'd go with hauby+1, depend on what you are fighting too, shadow with aggressor up and heca with agg down i guess could work.

Is this based on like...2 STR ring for WS? Because I still kinda favor Triumph + Sniper +1 (no sea yet)

Yeah, it was. Going Hecatomb+SniperHQ route over Haub+Flame would actually net you +1 STR and +2 acc at the expense of 12 attack. As with any non-crit multi-hit WS, attack (pDIF) plays a huge role in your damage output, so that trade is a coin flip to me, and not good enough to warrant uncursing an n.body. Plus, with everyone gearing for pizza builds these days, full STR/attack WS builds are performing better.

    Full ares set?

Is the full ares set good for weaponskill builds compared to mix and match between heca/haidate/hauby+1/ares ? I read on the catastrophie thread that full ares is best for that but havnt been able to find any other info about it for weaponskills like raging rush/guillotine/drakensbane etc.

Pretty much only good for Catastrophe. It lacks quite a bit of acc, which is great for multi-hit ws's. Most are also crit based, and the full set only has +6 DEX.

For MNK TP, Dune Boots vs Fuma
I know Usukane is optimal, but most of my group got lm-17'd and I haven't found a good salvage group since then. Also I have Brown Belt, not Black.

fumas win as long as you have 15% ish haste if I recall maths made here? which any monk has ( turban belt legs). Usukane is not optimal if you dont have the full set, its only if you need the 7 acc.

No usukane is the best regardless because of store TP +7 and 7 attack.

Fumas are ALWAYS better than Dune Boots.

    Sheikh Manteel vs. Marduk's Jubbah

for Merit Party and/or endgame (HNMs/etc)

I suppose Sheikh is better for metippo, but much better?
I'm getting Marduk's so I was wondering if I should also get HQ Manteel (have NQ right now).
Or is it just a waste?
