Maritime east is hard to come by, also Manitoba is Canada's Wyoming of the internet.
shiro mentioned in te other thread "driving 4 hours in Saskatchewan would only take me 4 hours from where I am" and said to the others to appreciate their proximity
in Ontario, you can dive 18 hours North and still be in Ontario, WHAT THE FUCK
when I was in Germany, we had a 5 day weekend road trip and went to Vienna, Austria and Budapest, Hungary and back -- in Ontario I might hit Thunder Bay if I'm lucky, fuck that lol
Texas - 268,820 sq miles
Saskatchewan - 251,700 sq miles
Fuck you
And wow, 9% of that is water, only 2.5% for Texas
Perhaps he just meant no matter where he drives in Saskatchewan he can still see his house 4 hours away. I mean, it's way less scenic then anywhere else in the country.
true, but once you pass Ottawa (5-6 hours from Toronto) you got a whole lotta trees and not much else (perhaps the Shield or Haliburton but I'm pretty sure my geography is off on that one)
also, for the east coast people, Aduidarnenye is representing Halifax, saw him in th Toronto Stinks thread
It's sometimes hard for me to remember that all of the Atlantic Provinces and Newfoundland probably don't take up the same area as Ontario alone. That's why we have a rep of being a hick ass little set of provinces
Upon looking at a map, Newfoundland, Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick look like they'd be pretty close to the size of Ontario.. but still smaller.
To be fair, most of us inland provinces are cheating with a huge fucking chunk of empty space.
Hmmm... Tim Hortons

inb4 something something spiders something
Now I just want Timmy's :/
I'd rather just a whole box of Apple Fritters, but that box would make anyone happy regardless.
oh man... when I was a kid visiting my granmother's house (on Crescent Beach, right by Fort Erie on the canadian side of Lake Erie, about 45 mins from St. Catharines) she used to get these amazing boxes of chocolate called Laura Secord. I've NEVER seen the brand for sale outside Ontario (and especially not in the US).
Cadbury Daily Milks are kinda amazing too (even tho I don't like milk chocolate anymore).
My main jealousy of canada comes from it being illegal to buy Kindersurprise Eggs in teh United States.
Laura Secord is in most malls around here, they're an icecream/chocolate store.
Irony is that it makes you more of a traitor to eat Laura Secord chocolate because she's the reason the Americans lost to the Canadians at Niagra.
I shipped my friend in Indiana a huge box of Kinder eggs + 1 football sized kinder egg that was full of swedish berries and some toys.
it's against US Food Safety regulations to sell something inedible that's completely surrounded by something edible, like the plastic capsule and the candy shell.
Honestly the candy shell is fucking disgusting, all that I want is the awesome toy, which I wish they'd just sell here but meh.
You can find kinder eggs in some european import markets (like german delis, for example) but they're technically breaking the law in selling them, although it's not like a go-to-jail law or anything.
Anyone want to send me a big assortment of laura secords? D;
