People claim the same thing happens from the bible too man. What do you think of those cases? Are they mistaken, lying or do all holy books remove djinns.

There was probably really nothing wrong with her but once she thought she had something that helped it caused 'it' to go away. She could have had the same success reading a poem about being spiritually clear.

Sometimes I think I feel things walking on my legs but when I read a book from the library I don't feel it anymore. Doesn't mean the book stopped a spirit from touching me it's just that my mind stopped paying attention to my leg and I don't interpret the wind moving the hair on my leg as something else.

Protip: They're making it up. Do you really consider it more likely that they were "possessed by djinns" or that they were lying (or misinterpreting their senses)?

Ya, because I was talking about the guy that was really nice in his village, and not the flying sled/north pole/chimney version (other wise known as SANTA CLAUS).

Dont be argumentative just for the sake of being difficult.

I'm only saying this cuz it's like the 50th time in this thread... it's Santa Claus.

Anyway, there's a difference between myths about a real person and the easter bunny, and the example you gave is really counterproductive.

They are both mythical creatures. What they were based off of was irrelevant.

Ghosts were based on previous living "people".

    Demons were not.

That doesnt make Ghosts any more likely.

    You are still arguing semantics.

And Santa had the E added to the end of Claus(e) when he divorced his first wife and kept getting her mail.

I'm not saying anything about the other debate.

I'm saying "Santa Claus" is real. The myths about him are not.

    Fucking semantics man.

Nicholas of Myra, the gift giver, was a real person.

Santa Claus is a MYTH based on that person.

Jesus christ, you must be bored today or something.

    Either fucking way:

THE MAN LIVING IN THE NORTH POLE AND FLYING AROUND (ill specify because you are a douchebag) is about as likely as the easter bunny.

homosexual marriage is man made...did you get that? i hope you did, you too neo.

possessed by demons? you dont believe in that shit? well i dont know about you, but i cant explain, how 2 agnostic girls encountering djinns..

2 of my friends, they dont know each other, same shit happened to them.

They feel someone is breathing on their ear, pressing down their body while their sleeping, sleeping next to them, whispering. They went to several doctors, no doctor in several fields could identify or cure the problem. (mind you, one of the girls is very rich, she went to London to find a solution).

they don't do drugs, they drink occasionally, and they are not crazy...

they tried everything, nothing worked.. and they said fine: "we'll try this Quran thingie" out of desperation...and it worked; i dont know how agnostic they are now; but they both testified that no doctor, or medicine helped them, it was the Quran that did.

i dont know why you mentioned the demons "bullshit" <_>
Same thing happend to me a bunch of times at my parents old house. You know what fixed it? Moving the fuck out of that Haunted House. Maybe I should have tried a Bible or Quran, it would have saved me rent money. My mom had a priest come and bless the house, and that didnt work either.

Right. So believing that residual energy can cause psychological hallucinations is hypocritical. Idiots. I think I really need to start clarifying myself more before I look like a looney.

Sleep paralysis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sleep paralysis is a biological condition. It's not caused by a fucking troll sitting on your back fucking with your nerves. The physiological response is that the brain cuts off all communication with the nerves controlling the muscles so that the body can remain still while sleeping. The brain wakes up during REM sleep and, while you are conscious, your body still can't move because the nerve signals haven't reactivated quite yet.

I've experienced this dozens of times, and with enough concentration I've been actually able to unparalyze myself. I guess I know how to exorcise the demons without the power of the Qu'ran. Maybe I should teach your friends.

Next time don't assume so much.

and again with the homosexuality being a sickness, i really corrected myself, wtf man. are you just gonna keep going on that?
The point I was making was that you seem to hold homosexuality as some sinful act that is within the realms of control if you just read the Qu'ran and renounce your sinful ways. I'm telling you it's impossible, because you can't control a natural genetic function. So in a sense, you're telling me people who are gay are going to go to hell over something they were born to be. That's entirely unfair and is almost like Christians saying only believers of Christ get into heaven.

So paradise for some, not for others? Just what happens to homosexuals when they die?

and thanks for the comment on my picture, i love it when people throw insults like those, means im pissing them off. we just talking here bro, no need to go personal on me.
Look, I apologize for the personal attacks, but frankly you're an extremely frustrating person to talk to. I'm not pissed, nor are you pissing me off, but you're really making my brain grind an extra gear over why you are so brainwashed by your religion (and I respect Muslims more than I do Christians, believe me) that you can't think for yourself.

I'm not expecting you to love homosexuals, invite them to your parties, give them tickets to heaven, and do sleepovers. I'm just expecting you to do what your religion expects of you - which is to love everyone equally and be indifferent to their choices; leaving final judgment up to God and nobody else.

I've had sleep paralysis and it's pretty fucking scary. When it's happening you feel like you're having a heart attack and you can't move at all or even open your eyes. Simply put, I was cured by a doctor telling me to reduce my caffeine consumption and bam, it worked.

I've also had a similar experience where certain muscle groups didn't activate upon waking up. I lifted up my arm and my forearm came crashing down numblike and dead.

Sleep paralysis can be one of the major symptoms of narcolepsy along with waking dreams or hallucinating while awake.

you misunderstood me then; im agreeing with you. I'm trying to say that perhaps thats what they were experiencing...but then again, why does the Quran cure it? could be a coincidence that both of them read the Quran and both were cured. oh yeah and according to my investigation, both their rooms has alcohol in them, and statues, like mini-buddha ones, hindu god mini-statues and such, they took all that off, and just read a bit of Quran before they slept, and bam, cured. they did try other means, but nothing worked, and everytime they ignore the Quran it comes back. I really squeezed them hard to make them admit to me, that it was just sleep paralysis, but they said it isnt, one of them started believing in spirits and shit, but still an agnostic. the other is considering islam. weeeeiirrd.

My brother was muslim, my friends at work are muslim, one of my college buddies I study with is muslim, and I ask them questions about muslims all the time.

Next time don't assume so much.
someone mentioned earlier in this thread that im a semi-devout muslim; what i know is maybe 10% of Islam. So what if you got some people in your life that are muslim, even if its your brother. My whole family is muslim and my dumbass cousin thinks its not important to pray 5 times a day, never prayed a day in his life. Doesnt mean that you know Islam.....I promise you, if you really know Islam, you wouldnt -atleast- disrespect it like this.

The point I was making was that you seem to hold homosexuality as some sinful act that is within the realms of control if you just read the Qu'ran and renounce your sinful ways. I guess you didnt get what im saying (Again).

ok lets anlyze sin, how is an act counted as a sin?

when a human being commits an act that defies God's word.

we cannot control homosexuality, therefore it is not a sin..

but sex is a sin! for a heterosexual and a homosexual. so the sin is: fucking a guy/girl/dog/tree.

I'm not expecting you to love homosexuals, invite them to your parties, give them tickets to heaven, and do sleepovers. I'm just expecting you to do what your religion expects of you - which is to love everyone equally and be indifferent to their choices; leaving final judgment up to God and nobody else.
I do not have anything against homosexuals, really i dont. I never disrespected anyone, i never dissed any homosexuals in my life. i have a homosexual friend, but he doesnt act like a bitch (make up, his clothes are funny) he doesnt live that unique lifestyle some of them do, he doesnt have special rights like in the west, he's just another person. but one thing, is he has interests in boys sexually, but never had sex with anyone, a good muslim (prays 5 times a day) he says this is his challenge in life "i gotta be patient, and ask god to give me strength"

he doesnt stomp his foot on the floor, and says fuck it, God made me this way, im gona go suck some dick. everyone in life has a challenge, thats his.

you're really making my brain grind an extra gear over why you are so brainwashed by your religion (and I respect Muslims more than I do Christians, believe me) that you can't think for yourself.
that again proves to me, that you dont know much about islam, if you think what i've said is a result of a some kind of manipulation, go ask your brother about homosexuality? is he brainwashed too?
brainwash, is when a sheikh comes on TV and tells people conflicting self mutilation, and hitting yourselves with chains and swords is what the prophet (PBUH) wants us to do....and hey, it actually fucking works, people do that shit.

Residual energy. Energy leftover that may not have been converted to something else that, when connected with a strong emotional or psychological attachment or memory, can cause a hallucination.

Example: I live in this house and lately I've been feeling like someone's watching me and I get this cold feeling (physiological response) washing over my body like someone is right next to me. I recently learned that someone was murdered here decades ago (psychological) and yesterday I thought I heard voices (psychological). Today when I was doing the laundry in the basement I saw someone walk by and go to the corner of the house (psychological). I immediately felt cold (sympathetic response) and left the room after I heard laughter. That night I couldn't sleep because I felt an overwhelming sadness (emotional) and I swear someone was in the room with me (paranoia).

Ghosts are real in the sense that, to us, they really are visible and cause responses such as drops in temperature. Ghosts are not real in the sense that multiple people spot the same thing and experience it the same way and they certainly don't throw objects across the room and move things with their energy.

    Does that better explain?

It explains what you mean, but it isnt anymore likely or real than Djinns or Demons. There is no "energy left over" that has interactions to beta waves and triggers responses due to chemical emotions.. What you are describing are psychological tricks your mind plays on itself to explain random stimuli. There is no evidence to suggest anything you just described is anything more than delussion or paranoid psychosis. I would expect a child to think the boogy man is in their closet causing those sounds, but not an adult.

    Come on man..

In High school, my whole family became Catholic. They still go to church, but my brother and me, my wife, and my kid havent been to church in two years.

Also, my entire family looks very "Middle Eastern" And I has a beard.
