Yeah, I read it though it's been a while. I skimmed through it again as I referenced it. I was simply illustrating that if gaping sections of the plot must be discussed in a forum open for years, then perhaps the plot isn't exactly rock solid for the target demographic.

Yes, NA is the target demographic for the NA version of FFXI regardless of the fact that the developers are primarily Asian and that the game was originally designed for a Japanese market. If it wasn't, the NA game would be in Kanji and Katakana.

My mule account gummynet was banned according to POL IC peeps to "rmt activities" a different rep said it was because more the one person logged on the account. I pointed out I had a security token on it and I have air cards that change ip on each connect. He placed a backup ban complaint on my behalf. (posted this info in another thread) Wasn't even gardening... I do nothing but store things on this account... 16 mules... I've done absolutely nothing wrong...

If SE cared about what the community thought regarding their customer service they would do something about the "wrongful" bans... but they aren't and they won't... so let it go. SE has been in business for a very long time, and obviously NOT because of top notch, award-winning customer service... it seems like the majority of players understand this. FF14 will be a success because it has "Final Fantasy" attached to it... that's why players are going to be playing it, not because of amazing developer/community interaction or customer service.
