It should certainly cut down on the number of people buying N.Head, though. Sure, N.Head is still better for most situations, but if there's an easy to get alternative you'll probably have less people shelling out 2-5M for the abjuration and therefore another 500k or whatever the cursed item costs. That was just my thought, really.

If you pick the following augment:

1) STR+4 WS Acc+15

And either:

1) DEX+4 Crit Damage+2%
2) AGI+4 WS Damage+2%
3) Accuracy+10 Att+5

It should beat out N.Head on multi-hit WSes in situations where your accuracy isn't capped. If you accuracy is capped, or near it, then of course N.Head will still win, but I'm not sure if it'll be enough of a difference to make people who aren't in HNMLSes shell out the gil for it.

I did some comparing using the STR+4, WS ACC+15 | ACC+10, ATT+5 set up, and using that and switching other pieces out for more STR, I gain like, 4 STR total, but lose 40ish DEX, so I'm losing a bit more ACC than I'm gaining. So for WAR, it's not really worth it.

No, my normal KJ uses N. head, so I use more ACC gear, with the add-on head piece, i'd be switching in more pure STR pieces, and losing 40 DEX from those pieces, and only gaining 4 STR.

http://ffxigear.com/?ref=14537 That's my KJ gear atm. With the WS piece from Moogle add-on, I'd be switching out ebody for Ares, Heca Hands for Alky's, B. Haidate for Warrior's Cuisses. That's losing 40 DEX and 26.666 ACC from DEX alone, and gaining +4 STR.

There are plenty of players in the game who need helms/body who:

A. Aren't at the level to get the helm/armors from the expansion yet.
b. Have not done the first expansion yet and will wait to do the 2nd also.
c. Want other helms/body in addition to this one.
d. Just don't plan on getting it.

So don't panic fellow crafters and when in doubt, diversify.
