After he won he got boo'd like crazy and he flipped off the crowd and yelled "fuck you" to everyone. Then when Rogan came to interview him post-fight he said "KEEP BOOING I LOVE IT" and then made a comment about going home and drinking a Coors Light, not a Bud Light (who sponsored the event), because Bud wouldn't pay him. Rogan asked some other questions and he just ignored them and basically said he was going home to bang Sable and left.

Fucking lol... god I love people like that, that you just love to hate. That's why I like Nick Diaz so much, all the trash talking and shit just adds to the excitement imo.

Edit: Even if they were to try and work out some kind of cross-promotion deal, I don't think Dana would ever let Brock fight Fedor. The potential downside outweighs the upside. They'll get, possibly, the highest rated fight in any combat sport since probably Tyson. If Brock wins, great, Brock is a fantastic heavyweight who just beat one of the best in the world. If he loses, Dana's star gets embarrassed and people talk about how watered down the UFC heavyweight division is. I don't know what it would do to Brock's PPV numbers, but it probably wouldn't help. I mean, I wouldn't send my cashcow to be potentially slaughtered.
It's a risk either way. Now is a gresat time to create hype and profit than right now. If Lesnar fights someone else and loses before he can fight Fedor, you just flushed a good chunk of that profit down the tubes since people will become disinterested.

However, if you can get Lesnar a few more fights that he wins and continues to play everyone like a top that he's a genuine jerk, then you can increase your profits a bit more.

Either way, UFC would be stupid not to make this happen at some point just for the huge potential PPV draw. But it has to be done before Lesnar losses again.

If Lesnar knows anything, it's how to generate hype. Hype = $$$. Anyone who thinks he's being genuine is getting played.

This is great for UFC from the $$$ standpoint. There will be legions of fans that will pay PPV to see Lesnar get put in his place, and another legion of fans that will buy the PPV just to see him win and what he'll do next.

The only beef UFC could have, is that Lesnar crossed the line by dissing on their coporate sponsor for the fight.

While I agree that he's fantastic at generating hype, I don't think it's the right kind of hype that the UFC ultimately needs. MMA is starting to gain momentum as a staple sport around the water cooler. If networks are going to pick it up, especially ones like ESPN, then they can't have their biggest player flipping off the crowd. Could you possibly imagine what would happen if Kobe Bryant flipped off the crowd then did a post game interview talking about banging his wife? David Stern would have a god damned heart attack. That's not going to grab the casual audience like boxing did in it's peak. You have fighters trying to fight at ringside and stone cold brock lesnar talking about drinking beer and flipping off the crowd. Sound familiar? While they can be wildly successful in their niche demograph, there'll have to be some changes for it to be a top 5 sport in the US.

Sucks that we didn't get to see Lawlor put the choke on that tool CB Dollaway. Especially when it gets awarded sub of the night.

I am glad the PPV lived up to the weeks of hype. All of the matches were good quality and exciting. Was a very good night for the UFC overall.

lets be real, until they can air super fights for free like other sports can do with their marquee match ups they dont even have to worry about that kind of behavior.

their president called a member of the media a cunt and her source a faggot. they still demolish boxing in ppv buy rate. i think they will be just fine for now

blarg, remy, and anyone else willing to talk about anything besides the worst division in the sport, what do you guys think about some henderson vs silva 2?

i guess some people think hendo should get the winner of maia vs marquardt, and i guess it makes sense because their fight is only a little more than a month out, so we wouldnt be waiting forever. i personally would rather see hendo get the title shot right away

I really wanted Mir to win, but I knew it wasnt gonna happen. Im shocked Lesner admitted to being stunned for a sec in the fight. In his locker room interview he said the flying knee made him see tweety bird. Lesner also seemed like he didnt like the stand up from Mir. In the very few standing exchanges is when Mir actually had the upper hand. Mir took more damage but you could see Lesner didnt like it and wanted the fight on the floor.

Ill give lesner credit for keeping himself so close to mir on the floor this time. You cant blame him for his style in winning the fight, it really was his only option with mir. He knew if he gave Mir an inch he would weather any hits and go for a sub(which is what exactly happend for a split second when lesner tried to post up a little on the ground).

Other then that, Im on board with mostly everyone else.. hooooooooly shit at hendos flying forearm. I was woooo'ing and clapping at the tv. Been waiting years to see Bisping get ktfo. Hendersons interview was probably my favorite of the night. Interviewer asked if what bisping said (hendo hasnt knocked anyone of importance in 5 years) made it feel all the better to knock him out. Hendo replyed, "where does that leave him then? pretty damn close to the bottom."

I would love to see Hendo Anderson 2. Though Hendo honestly isnt nearly as fast as he used to be. He really does throw that haymaker out pretty slow, and I dont expect anderson to circle right into it either. So I expect it to go much like the first to the ground, where anderson has shown the most trouble with opponents. Hendo proved though he still has the power if he connects.

I just want to see anderson actually fight again, and stop toying with people. If he wasnt fighting Forest I probally wouldnt order it. But Forest seems to do better against people that should destroy him, so Ill end up getting it.

I don't want to see hendo fight maia v marq winner as that will take 2 contenders and cut it to 1. Since anderson says he wants to fight often he could just fight both of them with a 2-3 month break inbetween. I think what would work well is maia v marq winner gets first shot and hendo can either sit out or take a fight at LHW, and win or lose at that weight his contender status at 185 should be fine. Then he can fight the winner of the 85 title fight.

I don't really think I will be excited for a silva hendo fight, I don't think hendo can really hit anderson and he would probably need a boring fight to even have a chance to win.

Nate and maia, for me, make a title fight more interesting for their own reasons.

Me: Because he only has to land it once.

And sure enough the next punch knocked Bisping out lol.

GSP was textbook GSP so there isn't much to say...Always impressive. I did expect more aggression from Alves.

I was pretty impressed with how Lesnar handled Mir tbh. Mir can be dangerous on the ground but Lesnar held Mir's wrist and just pounded him until he couldn't take it anymore. Having said that I wish Lesnar would stop with the WWE antics(before/after fights). I stopped watching professional wrestling over a decade ago and I don't want to see that shit in the UFC.
Fuck yes. Bisping got fucking rocked! For all that trash he talked, he sure went down fast. That last punch by Hendersen was just the icing.

i think maia vs silva would be awful, like watching leites again as far as im concerned. marquardt is fun to watch but i dont see him doing any better than he did the first time. at least Hendo took a round in their first match, it wont be an exciting fight, but its nice to see someone that has more than a punchers chance in there with spider.

^ This. Jon Jones is easily becoming one of my favorite fighters. He captured my heart after his full nelson use on Stephan Bonnar.
