Since there is more and more faggotry in the modding staff who seem to think handing out infractions left and right is justified, I'm just going to post this here and see where it goes rather than PM Sonomaa or Ragnz.

Shouldn't the role of a modding staff to only intervene when necessary? First off, lets establish without question when moderation should be issued:Predatory behavior, stalking, threats to other users, harassment(IE: Pming someone 300 times to annoy them. Repeated contact of an individual in order to annoy or intimidate them.), intimidation beyond the interwebs, invading ones personal privacy, revealing others personal information that is sensitive to them (Phone number, address, etc.), inciting others to commit illegal acts, or violate the terms of use on the board. This is almost universally wrong and its what you agree not to do when registering an account.

What we get from these forums is mutual entertainment. The moderation and admin staff clearly enjoy what they do and we all enjoy using these boards or they obviously would not be here. But here's the thing; power tripping your balls off and warning on silly infractions that are only relevant to certain users is ridiculous. Just because someone takes offense to someone elses post and reports it does not mean that the person being reported should receive an infraction. The moderation staff should not be anyone's personal army and the moderators seriously should not be their own. Just because you don't like a user does not mean you should have the ability to add infractions to a users account unannounced for for reasons not listed in the terms of service of the board.

Because these boards and their moderators are increasingly in control of what is posted, the users here need to band together and demand that our rights as users and supporters are protected. Put simply, if the nazi-ism that is currently going on within a select circle of the moderation staff continues, I find it very hard to believe that the forums will be able to pull such a supportive donation from the users next time the forums need money.

There needs to be a very serious reform in the moderating staff. If someone is doing a shit job, they should have their moderation ability revoked regardless of linkshell status or who is the admin's closest cocksuck.

Lay out clearly which rules can receive an infraction. Derailing a thread should not be one, or at least certainly not in general. If people in the thread want to talk about that topic they will, if they don't, the post will be ignored[ignoring rampart derailing where every post the user makes is completely off topic..], NSFW images that are not people chopping their dicks off in a NSFW thread should be left alone, the thread is NSFW for a reason.

TL:DR - Quit trying to censor people. If the thread is off topic, who are you to intervene? The forums are fluid and thats what makes these boards good. Kick out the shit mods that are abusing their power and only intervene when necessary. "Addressing it with the mods" is not enough. You don't fucking go into work and throw shit at people and not expect to get fired.
