btw i forgot to mention -- i have a cat and a dog, as I have said many times before, but just in case anyone forgot.

The cat is 17, she mostly sleeps a lot but occasionally gets social and comes out for a bit of attention. If you're allergic, bring some Benedryl or something. I dust/vacuum very often but cats are cats, so... take precautions. Sorry.

The dog is 7, 35lbs, and hypoallergenic, but she's hype as fuck so she'll jump on you when she first meets you. She's not mean or aggressive, just wants you to be her friend, so she flips out and jumps on you to get attention. Once she gets used to you (10-15 minutes or so of "OMFGGGG NEW PEOPLE YESSSSS") she's fine. She's never bitten anyone and won't get aggressive at all so there's no need to be scared.

So my moms got a connect with delta, and I might be able to get a ticket from fort lauderdale for less than 50 bucks. I was planning on takin a trip up to NY on the 20th anyway, and if y'all are leaving the 19th (sun) I could just hitch a ride back to the city with you guys and take a train to my friends house.

if there isn't any room or whatev it's cool. just an idea.

Farthest north I'm going is Camden, you'd have to take a train from there but that's no problem space-wise if Ryko's not coming with me.

Okay, when I get out of work I'll give my mom a call and see what the rates are. I'd probably land sometime Friday afternoon because there aren't any direct flights to Richmond, VA.

Skirkle, how far is Camden from Newark? If it's close, would you mind dropping me off there? If it's a long drive then it would probably be best for me to hop on a bus to my friends house in NY. He lives Orange County, which is about 40 miles north of NYC.

Camden is on the other side of the state, it's right across the river from Philadelphia. Newark is right across the river from New York >_>. There's trains in Camden that go to Trenton, from which you can go straight to Penn Station in NYC. Buses are probably available too.

Alternatively Philadelphia has plenty of buses and trains that go to New York. There's a Chinatown bus that goes straight into NYC for under $30 or something, Ryko would know exactly.

You have a couple options: You can either take the train from Penn Station > Trenton and then switch over to the River Line, which takes you to Camden and I can pick you up there. If you want to transfer in Camden over to the high-speedline to Lindenwold that's easier for me because it's closer, but I can drive to Camden too so it doesn't really matter to me either way. You could also go into Philadelphia at 30th Street Station but that's more of a hassle for me; you could also bus or drive if those are available. The choices are yours and yours alone. Good luck. (The train from Penn Station-Trenton takes about an hour and a half or so, and the river line takes an hour to go from Trenton to Camden., for reference. You said you got off work on Friday so I hope that isn't a problem?)

Time-wise, I'm still working it out with Tyven but I'm thinking of leaving my house to come get you at about 4:00. It takes maybe 20 minutes to get to Camden down 42, and after I get you another 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Washington. He mentioned that I-95 is a bitch to travel on until 6:30-7:00 so I'm planning to arrive just after then. From Washington it's another ~100 miles to Richmond, so that's like 1.5-2 hours depending on how fast I'm going.

Sunday I guess we can leave in the morning or early afternoon, it's a four hour drive back to Camden so that's plenty of time to catch up on sleep or whatever. Bring a DS or PSP or something in case you get bored though. I have an XM Radio and my limited iPod with about 1100 songs, about 400 of which I actually listen to so I guess we're set on music as well.

Saturday afternoon I think we've yet to figure out, but there's plenty of time to get an itinerary together.

And I'm about to leave to go open a checking account :3
