Pretty weak.
Hahaha this is terrible. Faster skillups are not a job adjustment. Plus its just faster skillups at a low and middle level. You can't even cap out your shit any faster.
I know. But as a 15min recast by default, I still highly doubt, on the BST side of things, this will change things at all.
Now which pets are STRONG against anything important (and can be used at 75?)? I cannot think of any at the moment on the top of my head.
i.e. if we were to see this as being useful:
BSTs need to:
Bring a Mandragora or a Funguar type pet to a Cerberus family fight . . .
But oh well, when is this update again? End of july or mid july?
Merged threads into correct forum.
Interesting I guess, I forget that those circle JAs exist sometimes.
Late July is what they've been saying.
Watch the new circles being incredibly broken giving a pseudo-Sentinel effct or something like that.
Also hope the new spells aren't a massive failure, last time only one (Regurgitation) out of 5 new spells was actually decent.
Regarding the new skill ups, by "mid-levels" I hope SE means "up to level 66"...
I guess my only question is... just how many drooling retards do they pick up off the street to develop for them.
Lol hardly Job Adjustments, really...
What is getting adjusted isn't the killer traits, it's the circle effects. Killer Instinct is the meritable JA that shares your current pet's killer trait. So unless they change the amount of effect the circles give, it's the same 10%. The fix is likely more related to the timer, since they mention it, be it either on recast or duration.
I don't see a use for Killer Instinct right now and unless these are drascticaly changes, I don't see it useful at all after this either. Being dependant on your pet's killer trait simply makes this a ridiculously expensive JA. Considering realisticaly we can't use charm for party events, which is where this JA makes sense (as well as where BST needs a push), we have to count on jugs to see how useful this is, which means we can get:
Lizard Killer (SaberSivarde)
Amorph Killer (Carrie)
Beast Killer (Homunculus / Funguar / Cactuar / Shellbuster Orob/ Voracious Audrey)
Plantoid Killer (Chuky / Lars)
Vermin Killer (Coldblood Como / Ambusher Allie)
I already find Chuky and Lars a bit prohibitive and Audry and Allie are way worse, but the rest are more than easy to get. Some of them only useful with full BA merits, but these are a given obviously.
So from that list, I honestly cannot think of a good use except uh... I dunno, MMM bosses? >_> I don't do that event, i wouldn't know. And Kirin, I guess. Maybe i'm missing the point, someone care to enlighten me?
Still crossing fingers for something meaningful for bst here.

About blu spells, i was not expecting this O.o We already have over 100 spells and I honestly cannot see the need for more, specialy mid level ones. Hopefuly these are both usable at 75 be it by traits or actual spell worthness. Either way, it will be something fun to do.
kinda disapppointed. i was hoping for 'real' job adjustments and additions..
skill ups really have nothing to do with jobs..
as others have said, they could have elaborated on the circle effects...
but since they say 'greatly enhanced usability' it might be something to the extent of additional damage bonus to the affected monster family perhaps..
if there is enhanced intimidation that could be useful too, altho the job that uses it most (BST) would be getting the shaft since their circle is merited and they actually need the correct pet out to get the bonus..
both the BLU spells look magical. i think the first one is a buff.
Eh, tried to see if battery charge really looked like the first green orb, but it didn't match. Oddly enough though, the end of spectral barriers animation looked suspicously like it, but I couldn't tell for sure, since it's hard to tell with the green core of a pot blocking most of the effect.![]()
someone figure out the blue magic NAO >(
I almost positive neither of those WS animations are currently in the game. That is what leads me to believe both of them will be from all new mob families. One of them is probably going to be a Gargoyle, and the other who knows- we might find out later through update notes but yeah, I don't think we've seen those WS before so it's just basing it off the screenshot.
I say the second one is physical just cause the guy is engaged and those blue lines are totally "attack lines"
it feels more magic to me honestly...
also it must be a pretty long animation for the spell considering the BLU is back in his battle stance and the spell animation isnt done
Calling first picture green animation = buff, second picture blue lines = physical
Ofcourse this is absolute speculation, but i'm thinking the first is a buff (the whole screenshot setup hints to that, pretty obvious conclusion) and the second is a debuff.
I may be the only one that likes this, but I hope it's an AoE debuff... I love AoE spells on blu that don't wake mobs up.
