Ice is still water.
Ice is still water.
Goddamn you are retarded asdrabael. Are you really going to pull that card?
No, this a fucking horrible idea. I don't want to go through the stress of getting banned for no reason just so you can have marginally less RMT that barely affect the game in any negative way at all. Plus, I'd have to make an international call and speak to SE's abysmal customer support. I'll stick with having slightly more RMT in the game, thanks.
Yeah NGE; trying to salvage their failed Star Wars themed UO clone by rewriting the entire core mechanics, and not telling anyone until the day after the second expansion was launched (which was apparently only two weeks prior to planned implementation).
You'll notice SE never did drastically change FF11's game mechanics in a knee-jerk reaction to WoW like SOE has done in their games. In fact, the only time they really did anything like that was from the bad press in the Pandemonium Warden incident.
On the evening of Tuesday July 14th I received a perma-ban LM-17 on my account. This took place between the end of Limbus and the start of Sea, so Mountain time 8pm-10pm. Upon calling US Customer Service on Wed morning I was informed that this was due to RMT gardening activities.
I explained that not only was I not RMT, but that I did not do any gardening at all on my mule or my main.
Later that day I did some research, and found this thread. My character for 4+ years has been a Bastok citizen, and I almost exclusively sell items to the NPC Proud Beard in Bastok Mines.
Of course I have no idea if this is the actual reason for my ban, but I find it interesting.
I have requested a review of my account for reinstatement, however with the update and any issues that come from that I am not hopeful that this will take place any time soon.
Anyone else have experience getting their accounts back from being banned for RMT gardening without actually gardening? I have seen 3-7 day turnarounds in other threads, but of course those people actually gardened.
