Did you add in the accuracy from the perdu wand?
Did you add in the accuracy from the perdu wand?
Yesh, Perdu was included in the 375 figure, but I'm glad you mentioned it, I forgot about k-club's impact on the perdu latent...
Well, if someone can gimme a rough idea of what 375acc (or 370acc) should be on birds, that would be a start at least.
Lv81 Greater Colibri 375: 83.5% 370: 81%
Lv82 Greater Colibri 375: 79% 370: 76.5%
@v Yeah... I fail at posting tonight. Should be correct now. I hope.
How does the latent on Perdu work when you dual wield and the second weapon is the one that puts you over 100? Does the 5+ACC still count if, say, your first hit of a round would theoretically put you at 99% and the offhand puts you 100+? I guess what I'm wondering is how many of those hits that you counted were affected by the acc bonus.
You get the TP separately, so you would get the ACC bonus for the first hit, and *after* the second hit (When you hit 100%TP), you won't have the ACC. My question is how does this affect multi-hit weapons? For example, if you were to hit 8x with Kraken, but get 101% TP after the second strike, would the other six strikes gain the ACC bonus? This could skew the results.
I was always under the impression that they go by attack rounds for getting the bonuses. For example, when I used to wagh baghs on mnk and overshoot 100 tp, I never noticed the 2nd fist being weaker than the first (which should be noticeable at -5 DMG -14 attack)
The best way to probably test this is to just simply merit for two hours without auspice. Reset parse. Repeat. Compare.
I wish I didn't hate everyone I played with, else I would merit myself Q_Q.
Hmmm, so not much of a bonus it looks like.
Definitely not the +45 I got on crabs, but in spite of K-club, I wasn't
missing as frequently. Maybe figuring miss/minute will show something?
Crabs 1,2,3: (they add up to a convenient 80min of testing)
1297misses/80min
16.21miss/min
3.70sec/miss
40-50acc bonus?
Meripo: (roughly 80min also)
649misses/80min
8.11miss/min
7.39sec/miss
0-10acc bonus?
I know there are a lotta differences between the two, beyond miss/minute,
but considering I missed 2x as often on the crab test, seems like it's
at least worth looking into.
Blind potion time?!

I made the badge kinda quickly, so I made it
smaller to hide some of my mistakes
EDIT: Regarding more merit parties... I dunno if it's worth it considering how
close I was to the expected hit rate. Wait, I mean, yes, more testing is
absolutely vital, I must killage more birds, yes, yes!
Really though, I'm sure I'll kill more birds, but I think I can get more valuable
testing from some place else.
did i not read that the acc bonus does not apply to the 2nd+ hit of multihit weapons? Or do i not know wtf i'm talking about.
It's possible, that's actually a good reason for some Blind Potion K-clubbage.
But as far as I know, that's only a problem for the Enlight effect, not the +ACC effect.
Still, it just -feels- kinda Zanshiny overall, because if it really did just keep accumulating as long as you keep renewing it, my tests shoulda shown that by now. It feels like, instead, I'm getting lower +ACC from high acc situations, and higher +ACC from low acc situations... I'm just not sure how it works, but I wanna know.
I REALLY WANNA KNOW GDI!![]()
Do the misses from KC count for Auspice gain in ACC? Or only the first swing (like how enlight works that way)
No one knows. SE's buff descriptions are as vague as ever.
Meh, it is a shame. The only testing I've done so far is on THF Quadav/Softstep in campaign and wyverns with the eva boost. Even with Auspice up and KC and lots of ACC gear, I was still missing like a mad man on the wyverns. The quadav in general I was able to hit over time.
You remember the last time we merited was before I had even finished the relic right? Besides, you should know plenty of other WHM who can keep their regen order up!
I wouldn't know how to begin to test. I would suppose I'd just merit for an hour without auspice, then an hour with it, then compare accuracy results. I wouldn't eat sushi either just to gauge how effective it really is.
Well I think a better starting point from here, is to just test something soloable and spam blind potions, like ~EM crabs in the tree or something, and see if we can determine if k-club is helping or hurting.
But that's just me, I don't wanna ruin a merit party for others... so personally I'd rather do blind potions solo, than foodless birds.
K-club could be helping test this, if every miss qualifies for whatever this bonus is, or it could be really messing things up if 2nd+ hits don't qualify
EDIT: to clarify -- Izzy, if you can do a test with/without on birds or whatever, that would be really great -- all I meant was, it may help us gauge how meaningful the results are, if we know whether or not k-club is messing things up, beforehand![]()
But....so....lazy......
Nope. It was shortly after you first got it. You were doing Mjollnir/Kraken for a while, and I was taking the brunt of endless Vorpals and Firespits. Bov was leeching on his 73? SAM, so I had hate maybe 50-75% of the time. It became far more manageable once you switched to Mjollnir/Perdu, but of course your damage dropped. I think our support was pretty bad, and died just pulling/sleeping stuff so that certainly didn't help.
Anyhow, did Signet have an accuracy bonus on EM or lower monster? If it did, testing on anything that it affects might have some interaction. I never saw any findings on how people think the Signet changes actually worked, if they were just an adjustment in level correction, or maybe fixed stat bonuses, etc. Well I guess you could try it, but you'd be working with a somewhat unknown variable.
Also, I have my 68 WHM that could be used for testing as well. So something EM to a 75 would be a good xp party analog.
