Need verification: Item GP Value = Jeuno NPC Value

I will like some help in verifying this observation.
The NPC resale item value to Jeuno/Whitegate type NPCs is equivalent to its guild point value when you turn it in.
E.g. Silver Bangles/+1 = 992/1054

For fish guild, I think it would be twice the resale value due to the fish npc nerf a long time ago, but I need some help in verifying this.

Incidentally, this would also the amount of "regional points" you get when you trade the equipment to the outpost for Conquest (modified by the influence rank your nation has).

Halved at bottom 2nd rank and Quartered at Majority (with a 200 pt cap per trade).

Interesting. So there is one integer value on all items that equates to guild points, conquest points and resell value (+/- modifiers) ?

Just to poke a stick in your eye...are you proposing this as level 0 fame, or hero fame, or somewhere inbetween? It wouldn't affect Whitegate, but if you're referring to Jeuno this would factor in.

Jeuno = Whitegate anyway. Fame doesn't matter. Fame only matters in the 3 beginning cities, Norg/Tenshodo, Selbina (Bastok + Sandy) and Mhaura (Norg + Windy).

You can verify this pretty easily.

This has always been the case. At one point I suggested entering Jeuno-vendor-value for items on wiki as the "neutral value" property of the item, but that idea got shot down.

Also, we found in the fishing forum that the reward for trading a fish into zaldon is half its sale price.
