    New Router Advice

    Anyone can recommend a new router that is cheap and work great for long range wireless?


    MY DIR-625 is wonky lately. It keeps disconnect me every 18 hours and takes 3-4 hours to go back up again.

    WRT54G (Linksys Wireless Router 4 Ports on back with Wireless G)
    WRT310N (Linksys Wireless Router 4 ports on back with Wireless N)

    Love them both. I installed DDWRT on them and cannot get enough of them. DDWRT changed the way I do everything with my routers.

    If you don't want to configure your router, or don't know how, the DIR-655 is the best plug and play usable router I've ever used. Even in houses like mine with massive amounts of torrenting and lan/online gaming. Handles all the traffic extremely well, and the automatic QoS it does is quite nice.
