Within my lifetime I fully expect the Loving v. Virginia logic to be applied by the Supreme Court to homosexuality. What a great day that will be.

unfortunately 2-3 more people are going to have to die (or step down, yarite) while a dem is in office, without anyone dying/stepping down while a repub is, for there even to really be that chance

So what's the ratio on gay male couples getting in trouble for he-says-she-says bullshit vs. gay female couples?

I can't even remember the last lesbian-arrest article I read.

Anyways, as far as the article goes, it's just a targetted situation gone overboard. The couple should have just sucked it up and moved on peacefully. Whoop-de-doo if you're gay, don't go throwing the gay-card around just because you believe everyone should be 100% tolerant of you.
(it's a fucking church, good luck trying to show them their arrogance)

The restaurant case imo was an issue with the security not politely requesting no PDA in the restaurant to the group, and it would have been as simple as that. But no, they just wanted to boot them out with the lack of info the article provides (beyond a 'simple kiss', which is friggen harmless unless the group of 5 was loud and obnoxious, but like the other article, lack of concrete info), and shit stirs, and then they add fuel to the fire with the anti-gay slander after the fact, which is completely out of line in their position.

Am I the only person who'd just prefer no time/trouble wasted and would move onto another location instead?

If you're adhering to stereotypes, it isn't largely perceived as weird for women to act like.. a guy. It is largely perceived as weird for men to act effeminate.

Discrimination is thus much more infrequent in regards to women acting like men.

Note: The above has nothing to do with sexuality.

When I used to goto church, you would be asked to leave if it was anything more that a little peck here or there, now if those two gays were trying to swallow each others tongues I can understand kicking them the fuck out.

I would but we'd need to build a Mormon church first and I don't want that shit in Minnesota.

I am curious as to what really happened in both of these situations. As usual, the "victim's" accounts and the "perpetrator's" accounts are wildly different.

In one with the tacos, I tend to believe the victims, because the statement from the security company reeks of prejudice, especially the unnecessary description of the guy who was "dancing around like a ballerina."

The Mormons, however, are a lot more level-headed in their response... hard to say who's telling the truth. But they did refuse to answer the reason as to why the two guys were asked to leave, and although they are technically correct in stating that you don't need a reason to kick someome out for trespassing, it's also true that not saying anything sometimes says a lot.
