I agree with Lbelle. yay for sloan/E in the near future and also this is the first time this season I did not hate Drama. He's usually my favorite after Ari (if not equally hilarious) but this season with him doing well his arrogance/douchery looks poorly. But seeing him be the angry, failure that we all know he is/he still thinks he is was great.
Is it just me or does it seem like E really hasn't grown up that much? He just kept going along w/ everything Ashley said and had no opinion himself. And wtf at him turning down an awesome job opportunity because he is butt-hurt over Sloan?
fucking tom brady
also, lol at E calling her sloan at the end.
I don't know, I like Sloan tons more, but I think Ashleys kinda cute.
She was much hotting when she was showing her hairy bush to Bill Murray in that one movie.
And this show is god awful anymore.... E is a whiny little bitch, drama is annoying as all fuck. Turtle is alright, just wish they would stop shoehorning jamie into the show. Really find it hard to care for these characters anymore.
the whole tom brady thing made me lol all episode
The main problem with this show, as I see it, is it's really two shows. There's the E & co. part, which oscillates every season between Lifestyles of the Rich and Boring ("Let's go race Ferraris!") and mediocre relationship drama (basically "Friends" with swearing). The latter--while mostly absent so far this season--can at least be moderately compelling while you wait on the other half of Entourage, The Ari Show, which even at its most banal is still far and away the most entertaining part of any episode. Conventional television wisdom would suggest that they ought to spin it off into its own series, but the folks at HBO probably realize that they wouldn't gain anything by doing so; with Ari gone its progenitor would quickly collapse into a black hole of bad plot lines and worse acting.
It seems that this show has run its course. at first it was about a struggling actor and his crew which is can create all sorts of interesting plot lines. now that vince has "made it" there's really nothing left to talk about. they tried by making medellin a stinker, but that just had them replaying the "is he gonna play aquaman" season with a different movie.
the entourage is basically living happily ever after right now, which is fine, it's just not compelling to watch. I think they should explore more "hollywood politics", it would at least merge the 2 halves back into one show. and toss the affair plotline thing, it's boring.
camron - what means the world to you
awesome song for the closing credits
IMO it doesn't matter what Vince/Turtle do, the show has always been centered around E and him trying to balance growing up/relationship, making Vince into a movie star, and all the conflicts that those two entail. And to me thats at the heart of what's lacking, having read some episode summary spoilers I think I like what the new job storyline has for E and hopefully that should address shit. Likewise, Ari and Drama have always been the other compelling half of the story. Ari is interesting whether his life is up or down, and as much as I want to see Lloyd's career go somewhere, Ari's vitriol is so perfectly directed at Lloyd idk what would happen there. As well, Ari's character has become way too conciliatory at times, I can understand the partner storyline, but I for 1 miss the good old days when he would have chewed E's ass out for embarassing him and Vince for the racism shit instead of telling him next time he'll lie better. Drama in turn is only funny when hes down or just committing debauchery, i.e. this episode or doing 25 takes w/ a model to make out with her. I'm really getting alienated by him this season as he is taking shots at Turtle/E for no other reason than because thats what he does rather than because he is using the insults to cover up his own inadequacies about being a failure. So unless they address any and/or all 3 of these issues I'd have to agree that for me this show is done. I'll keep watching if only for the bits and pieces of greatness that it still has but I think its safe to say the show peaked.
edit: ofc no matter when they decide to end it they should always do a last season that takes the meta-ness of it being about Wahlberg's career and have a tv show about Vince's time in LA, could parallel Seinfeld for lulz too by having Drama try to audition for the character based off him or something. Then have it to go to Donnie Wahlberg in the end for even more laughs.
Really? That's not saying much. I thought the episode was shit.
edit: And yeah, Ashley is cute, if you're attracted to chicks that look like Smeagol. Enjoy that.

golf episode was hilarious. wahlberg, drama, and brady were awesome.
Is there any website where I can catch up on all the old seasons? Pretty lost right now.
