Actually I called it the instant we started focusing on doing a lot of buyers and raising the ls bank, being that this isn't the first time I was in a succesful ls. If I had option to post the screenshots that goshtin and grieve both posted on our forums you guys would be in for a treat! (Doobie you can do it!) I just hope the STF got a hold of him and squashed everything before he got a dime for the Gil or his accounts. It was one thing to premeditate quitting the game after your relic and selling your account... (he told us he had been thinking about it since Dec.) it is another to take or let the bank be stolen after you annouced your quitting. Douchebaggery at it's best.

maybe he just felt like he had to leave? i know that once i get stuff i really really really want i feel accomplished, done. he made his own linkshell, got it going strong enough to fund his relic(even strong enough to restart without him), got his relic(beat the game imo), got really bored as there is nothing more to really work for, quit.

not condoning this guy but if he put in his fair share of work(leading the linkshell goes into that pile) he shouldn't be crucified for selling his account. ls bank is a different story.

See we wouldn't have been so pissed if it was just that he had the relic for longer then 2 weeks and got bored witht he game. The fact that he premeditated doing all the above and trying to be sneaky about it, with the stealing of the ls bank put it over the edge. Also he never paid the points for the relic upgrade which was a rule HE made. (1 point/100) He only paid the points for the Frag/asst. Either way someone is running around with the gimpest Relic Sam now.

I knew what was going on as soon as he started to "finish up" his amano. He put it off for so long apparently not wanting to "encourage high sales of coins", but this was obviously bullshit. He decided to finish up as soon as FF14 was announced. What does that mean? Peak financial value of your FF11 account. Like gosh says, not going to wall of text this, its done with and we move on. The shell is fine minus one deceitful player, if anything it was a boost lol.

DH is all the better going into its 3rd strong year

Well first off I'd like to say, the conversations I've had with Griev in the past I really like the guy he's cool to chat with and pretty damn funny. But that being said I can't say this is a huge surprise to me all as the details coming out.

When I first joined DH I saw a lot of potential in the LS. A few were a little misguided souls but there was promise. But I quickly noticed not all was puppies and rainbows as they never are.

Two relics going on for quite awhile. Dynamis twice a week and with the exception of shitty Xarc/CoP coin drops there was always a lot of coins to be had. Finishing a relic should not have taken a very long time. And as others have mentioned the moment upgrade status was mentioned everything went sour.

Then as the LS bank grew from countless Fragments and Attestations and Bv2's the payouts were random and few and far between. Yeah there were web auctions for members to use their points to bid on but points were a bitch to come by and to waste points that take you well over a month to get sometimes for a mill just wasn't worth it. Meanwhile Griev levels his Pld and magically as he's leveling it he gets friends that "owe him favors" and sell him expensive items for dirt cheap (Minerva's Ring, etc). The bullshit started getting deep. Then over random overheard conversations I hear about selling all kinds of currency to buy other currency, which in itself isn't a problem, but as much currency that was being sold not nearly enough was being put back in towards the relics.

All signs pointed towards DH being led around like sheep to be cash cows for the leader. Couple that with the random rants and raves and explosions every single night I got the hell out of there and didn't look back.

I don't know what is really going on with Griev since he's pretty much shut everyone else out and washed his hands of it all. If he is guilty of even an ounce of this then he's a lot worse than I gave him credit for.

He preached about all the things he did for everyone but he did for himself every chance he could get away with it, but when he was called on it, the sheep didn't question the shepherd.
