I don't understand how Sandworm is a waste of time. Lots of goodies for your members and you can sell everything if need be, win/win?

Because most events, if you break it down into gil/manhour is a waste of time. Sandworm is definitely worth it if you go out there, see it up, gather quickly with <12, and kill it.

If you sit there and scan for 3-4 hrs with 18 people, then another hour to drop sandworm + the NM inside, you're looking at up to 5 hrs for 18 people, or 90 manhours. Let's say you make 9mil. That's 9mil/90hrs, or 100k/person/hr. That's not the worst in the world, but its in no way good gil. You may say my 5hrs/18 people is way too high, but I'd point out that:

a. count hours spend when you don't get claim
b. 9mil is nowhere near average money from sandworm. I'd say it's well over double average. I've seen tons of Sandworms with no drops, or only a body off HQ, shield off KA, etc. I'd say the average sandworm is probably more in the range of 2-3mil (just guesstimating).

You'd make better gil for your shell splitting people up to go farm various dumb things, really.

It's not that it's a waste, it's that we don't camp Sandworm (or anything for that matter) - we're a simple, laid back EndGame shell.

Only did SW a couple of times, so bare with me please. It can use DV any time below ~40% right? And once a mob's health is below 25%, it will do a TP move whenever it reaches 100TP. From what I can tell, SW wasn't raging, and spells weren't resisting. So why not spam shit tier spells to feed it tp (10 tp for every spell doing 1 damage or more iirc) instead of big nukes to kill it before DV?
