I spent the first 3 years of my career on Ifrit and can vouch for this claim. JPs dominated Ifrit's endgame for a very long time and when NAs pretty much took over, DRings never dropped.

Do you not realize that some servers are actually jp dominated or were for years in the past? Just because you've never been on a jp competitive server doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Be less retarded.

Before I got banned I was the only NA on Titan with a Defending Ring that got it on Titan (and the only other NA with one was in my LS and it was a bought account). Only one other had ever dropped (on 6/6/06 no less) and it was to a WAR in a newbie HNM LS that quit a few months afterward. There were however about a half-dozen JPs with Defending Rings, most of which had quit. Yoshihiro (JP) had Aegis and Excalibur and didn't have a Defending Ring!

As far as I know there are no NA Defending Rings on Titan right now that were born on Titan.

That's technically incorrect. Munashii's dropped in December '07, and contrary to what what alot of people might think, he is NA.
