Vilma's obviously not that elusive if even wiki has an unclaimed screenshot of it? Then again there's pXI so meh. Either way, Rose Garden is basically the same thing as Voluptuous Vilma though I didn't initially realize that they were even seperate NMs since they shared the same drop <_>

Mm, I don't think so - Atomos is the test server and the wiki Vilma screenshot was taken on the Ballista Royale server, which I think is a different one? But basically yeah, the only confirmed sighting of Vilma in FFXI history was on an uninhabited server

I'm 99% sure Ballista Royale took place on Atomos.

I think he glitched when he left Ballista Royale and got to wander around on the test server (hence the screenshot), but obviously the GM wasn't pleased with him doing this and some he got jailed and told to log off

I cant find any proof of it, but if you even look up Vilma's Ring on FFXIAH, you can see the picture and the date submitted as 2007-07-11 02:08:01 and it is a picture of the ring on a RDM. Additionally, if you click the "View Players with this equiped" button, you can see over 100 people with it on.

Jesus. For the last time. Rose Garden =/= Volupt. Vilma. Both drop the ring. RG appears when the Morlbol's down there haven't been touched for some time, VV appears when RG hasn't been touched for a period of time (which is rare because people will kill RG for the ring, hence the ongoing discussion here.)

You're missing the point completely. The picture isn't about the ring, it's about the fact that Voluptuous Vilma was actually spawned on a public server. For anyone else that still doesn't get it, VV morphs from Rose Garden, much like Rose Garden morphs from the Overgrown Rose.
