Who gives a fuck he got D.ring, it's not going to make him any better. Whoever made the call to let him lot should be shot indeed, but one item isn't going to make him evolve from trash to good. Does it suck to see good gear wasted? Yeah. But any of the people posting in this thread are still better than him, D.ring or not.

No one here is saying it will make him better, we are all unanimously saying that the Dring would have been better served by dropping to the ground.

Maybe he was in a dumb shell that thinks dring is a paladin only item and he wanted it for an ohshit macro for another job, so he leveled paladin just to be able to lot on it!

I'm not sure if you knew this but D.ring will actually make him better than it would someone else technically speaking. He will take more damage than better geared players and thus D.ring will reduce more damage than it would for someone else who is already taking much less damage due to an array of good gear.

I'm not saying this guy should have got D.ring as I'm sure he shouldn't have, however technically it would do more for him than others. Most people with D.ring are god damn terrible players who think they are good, and they might have great gear, but that doesn't mean they are good at the game. Most people who get it are just down right bad whether their gear seems good or not.
