Firion is extremely strong, but yeah his stuff comes later. Shield Bash counters any HP attack at almost any distance, there have been like 3-4 times where it did miss the counter due to some weird angle. Weaponsmaster goes through walls and can be decent too, and his Double Trouble that chains from either Rope Knife, Reel Axe or Lance Combo is nice too, especially since you can chain Reel Axe into Rope Knife (use R+X to dodge back and cut down the lag after he catches the axe) then into Double Trouble.

I've been enjoying Squall the most; aerial brave attacks simply rape.

I'm leveling the Warrior of Light, Zidane, and Sephiroth atm. I enjoy aerial combat but Sephiroth seems to perform pretty well on the ground.

I am only a few megalixers away from zidane's ultimate, and i'm pretty much done with him. Then i'm moving on to tidus and then shantotto. Breaking lvl 105 zidanes thru quick battle was sooooo annoying, i forgot how long it took and how many breaks it took me to finally get him to drop the battlegens. ~_~

I hear this. Fuck a ~6-7% chance on break to get an orb. I gave up after sitting at 3 orbs for like 2½ hours of trying. Ultima Weapon is pretty much just as good and alot easier to get.

I had got mine from fighting level 100 Exdeaths for Genji Armor. He had Ultima Weapon equipped and was dropping the components from it every once in a while. Noah's Lute seemed pretty rare though, only got one in a really long time fighting him. I think I had 2 or 3 Whisperweeds though.

There's two Friend Cards with a lv100 Golbez and a lv100 OK which has a ~50% chance on break to give you the Lute and Whisperweed. You get them by entering a code into your own Friend Card info, you can probably find it if you search a bit, SE gives out these codes from time to time on their Dissidia site I think.

I am not looking forward to remaking Ragnarok for Firion. But I can't pass up that +25% Damage. Sounds like it's gonna be alot easier making stuff with this Elixir trade system.

EX build on Terra now. Hooooly shit she's fucking broken in EX mode. I've completely stopped using Maduin's horn in favor of Nirvana.

50% chance on that is pretty high, considering that i've broken both that OK and golbez plenty of times, and never got the items.

Yeah... setting up an EX accessory set up is ridiculous. I set up a Gabranth with pretty much every EX boosting accessory and you quite literally never come back out of EX mode when you're in it.

Translated JP names, might be different in English, but this is how I did it:
Get Flamberge from 6 DP bonus in Clouds story.
Flamberge x1, War God Skull x3 and Yellow Gem x1 for Apocalypse
Apocalypse x1 and Hero Skull x5 for Ragnarok.

Has ATK+68 and Physical Damage+25% and lots of characters can use it.

I just collected all four pieces of Heike's to get the All Glories Must Fade bonus, and damn, it makes Colleseum easy. Also managed to get an Ultima Weapon, turns out I had the ingredients for it for a while just never got the recipe code until yesterday lol. Also got Gungir from Golbez, which is really nice if you focus on Wall Rush HP attacks

Fun fact: If you beat twenty minutes in Time Trial mode, you can get 10 (!!!) Megalixers. True story. Or 15 minutes, I'm not sure. All I know is that I'll be busy pounding my head into my desk.

(mutters something about spending hours and hours in Lunar Whale land to get 10 megalixers, and I get 10 in fifteen minutes!)

So I just started playing this <_< and I kinda suck at it, but that's cause I suck at fighting games in general. I have slow reflexes for this kind of stuff, and have a really hard time doing stuff like guarding/dodging/countering, cause this is just not really my type of game.

Anyway, I've only played as Butz so far >_> cause I like him lol, but everytime I get up against a higher (like 10+ levels) enemy in the story mode thing, I just get my ass kicked like 20 times in a row :< although I do eventually win thanks to spamming that swirly wind attack and using it to cancel the opponent's attacks.

I guess the point of my post is, any tips or anything for someone just starting? I don't really have any idea what I'm doing lol
