Well, fishing in a zone with gazillion of mobs, each of them being x-times stronger than you isn't a wonderful idea to be honest. At times, you can't even raise up because of the continuous AoE attacks. Fishing or not, you can train intentionally or not every kind of monster on a person/group and you can't expect GM to deal with all of those. Heck, because of the lag most of the time I can't even see what kills me.

Unless there is a recorded evidence in chatlog, there is very little a GM can do about that. In a city under siege, the last thing a sane person do would be fishing in the middle of a battle.

Actually Exodus from alla got told by a GM to remove the URL to alla from his bazaar message, even though it's a community website, and he's worked with zam in the past.

The famous Feimetsu GM'd a couple of our ls people because they had their linkshell address in their bazzar comment and they got formal warnings. I'm guessing that counts as an 'infraction' and they are one step away from being banned now.


Also, an admin over at Zam was told by a GM to remove his bazaar message, which was their website........a premier FFXI site. Formal warning, etc. The thread is only a week or so old if anyone wants to look for it.
