The GM gave us two different places to look.... I didn't find shit in either of em

Looks like he was referring to this portion.4.1 Ownership and Rights.

that GM is a moron
A friend of mine and I were fishing in al zahbi during besieged, this guy starts training mobs ontop of us to mpk over and over and over. Called gm, got that retard, said he won't do anything because "fishing in besieged isn't the best idea". Dumbass shitface cockslap.
Friend of mine was suspended for 3 days for having my name and just my name in his bazaar. When he finally got back on and asked a GM why he was suspended, he was told that having peoples names in your bazaar is a no no. It was silly LS vs. LS drama that lead to the call but the outcome was just ridiculous.
How about someone put in a GM call to ask about this? And hope that you don't get Sihrus
I don't speak legalese, what specific text in that block applies here?
That last line is interesting, if unsurprising. In addition to the right to change the ToS at any time and ban us as they see fit, they have a "we don't owe you jack shit" clause. Obvious, but I must have missed reading it before.
Ahhh this website address in bazaar -> ban/suspension thing has been around for a while. Still very stupid on SE's part, since it's based on others GMing you for it.
i had my last ls' url in my bazaar comment for like...2 years...retarded shit.
Someone should just call a sGM on this moron. Some of this guys practices seem a little sketchy .. "Fishing in beseiged isn't the best idea?" .. yeah well I guess MPKing people during beseiged is the greater idea ....
I can see the point behind it actually as they can't monitor and search every site for malware and potential attacks.
Unfortunately, this is the downside of the policy.since it's based on others GMing you for it.
Well, fishing in a zone with gazillion of mobs, each of them being x-times stronger than you isn't a wonderful idea to be honest. At times, you can't even raise up because of the continuous AoE attacks. Fishing or not, you can train intentionally or not every kind of monster on a person/group and you can't expect GM to deal with all of those. Heck, because of the lag most of the time I can't even see what kills me.Someone should just call a sGM on this moron. Some of this guys practices seem a little sketchy .. "Fishing in beseiged isn't the best idea?" .. yeah well I guess MPKing people during beseiged is the greater idea ....
Unless there is a recorded evidence in chatlog, there is very little a GM can do about that. In a city under siege, the last thing a sane person do would be fishing in the middle of a battle.
the obvious solution is to say to search some odd string that you google bomb, like "clowns eating frosted cupcakes".
The famous Feimetsu GM'd a couple of our ls people because they had their linkshell address in their bazzar comment and they got formal warnings. I'm guessing that counts as an 'infraction' and they are one step away from being banned now.
Also, an admin over at Zam was told by a GM to remove his bazaar message, which was their website........a premier FFXI site. Formal warning, etc. The thread is only a week or so old if anyone wants to look for it.
GM's are about as dangerous as they are useless if not more so. this is getting out of hand
