Not sure if it's been posted, but one of the old admins at Allakhazam got a warning from a GM for having the alla site in his bazaar comment. He was allowed to have ffxi.allakhazam.com, but not Allakhazam.com: Final Fantasy XI.

back in early 2004 i was jailed for 3 days.

i was shouting my Linkshell's url. which was a proboards. Proboards has ads, ads that are based on forum content. So there was rmt ads.

When i was warped to jail, i spoke with the GM and asked him why i was being jailed. He told me that i was being temp ban for 3 days. he basically told me i was a rmt who was luring players to rmt sites.

i told him that is crazy and that it wasnt my fault there were ads. I explained that proboards was a free forum that used ads to make money. I told him i was 15 years old and had no money nor a credit card to make my own linkshell community website like the ones on s.e main site. So i used the free site. i said i was sorry and that i didnt have any control over ads.

he said he understood and told me that i can go.but i would have a strike on my account for rmt activities.

I'm sure someone said it already, but since people were complaining about being directed to websites via /tells, it WOULD make sense why it would be an issue with urls in bazaars and etc (Better safe than sorry) but most GMs don't know anything to begin with.

Eh, Seraphus/Jared never stole the bank really. He transferred what little of the bank we even had to us, which consisted of 1 100 byne bill and 700k or so. For a while we thought there was more but I went through old screenshots of drops I had and matched them to what he said was in the bank and it tallied up for the most part minus maybe 200k. He even let me onto his account at one point where I saw his gear was similar to what he had before he left Fairy and he wasn't rolling with millions upon millions in gil. Kind of a weak thing to try to start drama over, a linkshell bank from over 2 years ago that was disputed and ultimately taken care of by me and him.

Also, didn't your brother Jakewyler and his alternate Lakeshow scam like 6 PCC from people in UO? If your going to enforce ethics on thieving and stealing, shouldn't you first focus on him?
